Yeah, I think they are awesome

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Bought a few of these for myself and kids for gifts. They sound great, comfy (if you have the right silicone surrounds - I like the mediums (larges are huge)) and seem really durable. I did have one come apart and skull candy warrantied without question. And I like the little case they come in - keeps it from getting tangled in everything in my backpack. Love that they have volume control on the cord so I can put my ipod in my jacket and not have to dig it out everytime I need to hear someone. And lastly, I do put them in my ears while on planes sometimes, even if I'm not listening to music, because they are decent at noise cancellation for a guy who won't drop $300 on Bose.

I prefer these to full metal jackets for a few reasons, but there are a few things better about the FMJ. FIrst, the titan has better cords. Skullcandy says the cloth cords won't tangle as much. I don't find that to be true. They tangle just as much. Titans have thick rubberized cords, which I like a lot more. Second, the cord on the titan is longer. The cord on the FMJ is just too short, i pull the buds out of my ears all the time. Third, way cheaper, because it doesn't include the inline mic, which never works anyways (didn't on my iphone 4 at all). The forward and reverse controls on the FMJ suck too, they don't work. So, for the price, the titan delivers the same sound, but for cheaper, with some better features.

E-A-R, Bud!

Put them in and rock out. And, apparently the wires don't get tangled.

Awesome buds

These earbuds sound great once you find the silicone surround that fits your ear (the smallest one for me). They are not active noise cancelling, but with the seal that is created when they fit snug in your ear it deadens the surrounding noise quite a bit. They have a good frequency range and response. The cord doesn't tangle easily. After about 18 months of use the only two complaints I have are that the dangling wires bumping into things sounds like a heartbeat on a stethoscope and my earwax gets all over the speaker sometimes (guess I should clean my ears out more often).

Great headphones

Great headphones. Very loud and very clear sound. And it comes with a carrying case that makes it easy to stuff them in your pocket or bag without the cord getting tangled.

Great sound and great headphones

These head phones have the great sound that you would expect from skull candy.

terrible quality

Got these for Christmas and they worked great... for three minutes i got great sound and quality, but somethings are just too good to be true. these ear buds are no exception. After the three minutes of usage I obtained the right ear bud blew out and the wiring in the audio jack went bad so you had to move the wires around to get the left side working again. Very bad quality DO NOT GET!!! go with some beats or bose

Do these ear buds stick out beyond the ear...

Do these ear buds stick out beyond the ear at all? I am concerned that they will not fit very well under helmets.

Great sound, but....

I would give 5 stars. I love the headphones. Great bass, highs and comfort.

What irritates me is that these headphones have a huge difference between each of them.
Check the cords. I was specifically wanted a braided cable because they are alot more flexible and it makes it easier to use riding my motorcycle.

I got the steel colored titans. the description said it had a braided cable. And it does... covered in a clear plastic rubber/silicone type stuff.

Come'on people.. if the manufacturer changes the product.. update your description, pictures, etc.

Decent Sound

Very comfortable and has great sound. Better than spending $50 on apple earphones, especially when you catch these on sale.

How much do they stick out from your ear? Like would they fit well under a full face helmet? And how long have you had yours? It seems that many people say these break after a month or two..

Pretty decent

Pretty decent sound for the price and I've been giving these things a run for their money at work, on the road and at home for almost 2 years now. They're small and comfortable enough to leave in all day with no complaints.

Look Great! Sound Better!

these are amazing good for really bassy music and they look good I haven't had any problems or complaints great pair of headphones!

Great buds

Probably the highest quality ear buds I've ever used, but what do you expect from Skullcandy?

Pretty good.

I really like these. Pretty good sound. Nice bass. They also look sick. The downside however was that the paint started chipping within 2 weeks. The cord is also really long and gets in my way A LOT. Other than that I wood highly recommend these.

Not Stoked

I'm very displeased with this product. I just got it today. I find out it did not come with a volume adjuster. The sound is good as long as you play it quite. If you want to blast it, it sound horrible. Not recommended.
