Description

A double-threat guy.

Smith has a way of combining style with function that few other companies can match. Just one look at the Smith Terrace Sunglass and you'll know what we mean. It's tough to decide if this is a fashion or performance sunglass. Don't worry about it. It's both. Super-durable, lightweight Evolve material frames the shatter-resistant Carbonic TLT lenses to make a sunglass that would look as comfortable on the runway as in the half-pipe.
  • Medium fit for medium size faces and folks who like medium coverage
  • Lightweight, shatter-resistant Carbonic TLT lens
  • Stylish, lightweight Evolve frame material
  • Hydrophilic Megol nose and temple pads stay in position on your face when moist
  • 8 base lens curvature

Narrow Mug? These Have Ya Covered

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

You've been looking for a pair of shades that look stylish and fit your face, but it's not easy cuz your mug is a bit on the narrow side, been there bruh. Fortunately, my wife gave me the greenlight on these guys, and I concur: game, set, match.

These shades have no trouble rocking out on the trails and are still stylish enough to wear while walking back to the hotel with co-workers after a conference. I appreciate the wide arms; they act like bodyguards blocking out any light from sneaking in on my periph, and the black/grey frosty look is pretty sick while staying under control. The frame feels solid and they fit snugly enough to stand out on a windy boat deck with confidence. One thing I'd like to see done differently is a darker tint on the lens because the NM sun is difficult to tame.

Sizing: I have a medium-to-large size head and a narrow/long face.

Review UPDATE: These shades do tend to fog up if you're taking on a strenuous hike -- I experienced this recently while clambering up to 12k on Sierra Blanca in southern NM.

Review UPDATE: The black coating on these shades is now flaking off in large sections. Bummer since they're 8 months old and not cheap.

Review UPDATE: The shades snapped in my pocket today when I bent over to pick up a bag of groceries. Plastic snapped. Major bummer.
