Bern Baker Helmet w/Knit Liner - 2008

Bern made the Baker Helmet with multi-impact Brock technology for skiing, snowboarding, biking, skating, and more. It also comes with a removable knit liner. Use this cotton acrylic blend liner for riding in the winter, and take it out to stay cool in the summer. As the flagship of the Bern line, the Baker Helmet has found its place with alternative-sport athletes who don't want a whole closet full of helmets to cover all their activities. The closed-cell Brock lining holds a multiple-impact hard-hat rating, which makes it a better helmet for a snow park or dirt jump session rather than a massive cliff drop.

Bottom Line: Ride with the helmet that started the multi-sport revolution—the incredibly versatile Bern Baker Helmet.

this is my third bern baker. i broke the first, when my head was skied over in a skier cross race

i then replaced it, and have now purchased one in a smaller size so that i dont have to wear a beanie under my helmet in the spring.. im glad my quiver of helmets consists of bakers

sick helmet

By:

first off i wana say this helmet is so dope. it is super lightweight, u dont even know it there, and it lets air in so u dont get too hotheaded in the park, also it looks steezy. buy it. as a plus, i got this helmet in medium from CCS for 70 bills and it had headfones in the liner, so that was nice. o and get a size smaller than u normally would... the sizes run big

This is a sick ass helmet and highly recommend it. I use to be against helmets just because they're a pain in the ass...but finally Bern came out with a comfortable and reliable helmet. Got it in White and looks great. More and more guys down at northstar are rep'n these...Go buy one for sure!

keep those ears warm

By:

the Bern baker is the sickest looking helmet there is.
the knit liner is great for those cold days and eliminates the need for a beanie underneath your helmet. the helmet itself has taken quite a few knocks and has held tough.
would definitely recommend

Baker=SICK

I don't really like helmets, but after a close encounter of the 3rd kind with a double kink I decided to pick up the Baker. This thing is rockin. Steezy, light, and comfy. And you gotta love the low profile look, doesn't make you look like a bobble head like the other helmets out there.

Bern

This helmet fits and feels great. I took it on a trip riding out west and it kept my head nice and warm. The only downside to it is that if it's snowing, snow can get stuck on the cotton liner over your ears, then melt and then refreeze, which is cold. Still a great helmet though. Also, you can't really tell but the criss-cross pattern on the brown helmet is the word "bern" repeated over and over and is pretty cool.

Sizing

By:
March 9, 2009

Just got this helmet a few days ago, its quite nice, for those of you interested in the sizing of the helmets, before buying i went to my local snow store and tried on the bern baker, they had the ESP foam version, the large did not fit so i decided to get an xl, and as we know dogfunk has the BROCK foam version, so i ordered the xl for me and l for my brother and when they arrived, the L fits me perfectly, yeah my head measurement was 58

Best helmet ever made by human hands

By:
February 10, 2009

seriously... I can't give enough props to this helmet. It fits great, looks badass, is warmer then the innards of a tonton, and is solid as a rock made out of the lord. I can't imagine riding without wearing this...as a matter of fact i feel sorry for people that wear all of the otther crappy helmets out there....they have no idea.

Super light weight, when I'm riding with mine I never notice its there, which is how it should be. The liner is super easy to put in and take out, can do it with gloves on no problem.

Sick head protection

By:

This helmet looks sick, really comfortable and is super warm on a cold day. Not a lot of ventilation for warmer days, but the knit liner pops out easily... love this thing.
