Burton Cartel Snowboard Binding - 2005

Burton's Cartel Binding rules the park with power and precision. Utilizing Burton's tallest highback, the Team Skyback, this binding responds to rider demands instantly. The Cartel is armed with Superstrap ankle straps and park-favorite Capstraps for a convincing combination of comfort and control. OTT padding protects calves from highback bite and dampens excess chatter. Quick attitude adjustments are made by applying the Smooth Glide buckles so you get what you want out of the park. The Cartel's precise control lets you line up for park hits with the confidence that Burton has got your back.

Bottom Line: The Cartel makes the park yours.

I have the Cartel OLS and it took me awhile to find them, but it was well worth it. According to Burton they’re not on the market but they are wrong, they have great graphics and I was happy with the quality of the binding.

Awsome bindings

I paired these bindings with an older board and the couple was awesome. Great in powder, in the park, or deep back country. Light, easy to strap on ,and just sick looking. Get a pair.

Awesome bindings. Looking at buying a second pair in champagne colour to put onto another board.

They broke 5 times

By:
December 8, 2005

I had last year’s Cartels and they broke five times. They are broken right now and Burton is out of the part I need. If you don't go snowboarding much you'll probably be alright, but if you shred, they will break.

Burton Cartel

These bindings are totally sick. I really love the two strap you can for sure tell a difference when riding with them. Also, another thing is the high back has a great angle on it so you are leaning forward a lot with helps out a lot and you can also adjust degrees on the highback also. The only thing I say about these bindings that I’m not to fond of is how to fold down the high back you have to unlock them. But they are awesome enough that I don’t really mind that! Totally recommend these bindings for anyone who is into freestyle or park riding!

Best All Around Binding I've Ever Used

By:
February 23, 2006

I've been riding for about 11 years now. I've gone through about five pairs of bindings. These are by far the best. They are light, comfortable and are mad responsive. I've convinced three of my friends to buy them since I got them two weeks ago.

Jammin'

These bindings right out of the box are great for your freestyle needs. The cap strap support a lot and the highback keep you supported. The only problem is adjusting the gas pedals in the front of the bindings for toe lift. The can be a pain, but if I were you I would jump on a pair of these as soon as possible!
