Burton Mission Snowboard Binding - 2005
Burton's Mission Snowboard Binding pummels the entire mountain with park prowess. The Mission, one of the lightest bindings in Burton's lineup, is developed to stomp tricks in and out of bounds with a reinforced-nylon baseplate and redesigned highback. EVA padding eliminates chatter and absorbs impact from big drops. The now famous Capstrap eliminates the pressure points of traditional toe straps and holds your boots back for unreal control. Loosen the ankle straps with the polished, smooth-operating buckles for park runs or quickly crank them down when dropping into sketchy chutes. Adjustable Gas Pedals accelerate turning to give the Mission its all-mountain maneuverability.
Bottom Line: The Mission makes any mountain its playground.

I got these with the Royale, it’s a sick combination. These bindings are light, fit nicely, and give great response. The only problem I had before I had my ruler boots, was that the highbacks were longer than my boots and chaffed my calves. Other than that, I get compliments for how sick they look and I can ride like I never have before.

I LOVE the mission bindings. I've been riding these bindings for five years. I get every model for each year. This year’s is the best one ever. It's not to stiff and not to soft. It's highbacks are perfect in height compared to the P1s or Cartels. The toe strap was the greatest idea, especially on this binding.
