Burton Dominant Snowboard - 2006

All obstacles fall at the feet of the Burton Dominant Snowboard. Life-or-death street rails, massive booters, and icy pipe walls bow down to this freestyle juggernaut. With its lightweight Park Fly wood core, the Dominant Snowboard has explosive pop and a forgiving flex so you can ride away clean if you come up a little short. Burton built this freestyle jibstick with Dualzone EGD construction for precision edge hold in icy pipes, a directional flex pattern for high-speed control, and burly 10:45 sidewalls for multi-season durability. The Slick version of the Dominant Snowboard has continuous recessed edges for catch-free sliding on rails and ledges. *Available for US Shipment Only.

Bottom Line: Ride the Burton Dominant Snowboard and the terrain park will grovel at your feet.

Dominant dominates!!

By:

my first experience on the dominant was a thriller to say the least. Shreddin it up on fresh powder n hittin the rails was a blast. It had a little bit of drag when I was doing sharp turns though. Haven't snapped the nose yet so *knock on wood* hehe, but overall a very excellent board and I would recommend it to anyone who loves to shred it up on park.

GRAPHICS

By:

What happened to the old graphics? I think the old graphics for the Dominant were soooo much bettr then what it is now. Should have kept the bottom of the board and gave the top some new flare but that's what I would do.

This is a good board. Although I snapped the tail on it the first or second day riding it. But I ride really hard.

This is the best board I have ever used...great flex, super light, great on rails, and makes my backflip so much easier.

I cracked the tail on my 156 dominant on the second day. I got a new one through Zumiez because they thought it was a defective core but then I literally snapped the nose on the second at a 90 degree angle dropping off a cliff into powder. Don't take this the wrong way the dominant is the lighest, most flickable board I have ridden for park. The only problom is if you ride powder and big backcountry hits it will snap. Too bad, I know :( But I bought a Rome Agent and it's everything and more!

I got this board for my husband as a birthday gift. He loves it!!! He cannot wait for winter so he can finally try it out. I heard a lot of good stuff about this particular board(flexible). Name itself says a lot. Thank you!
