Burton Custom Snowboard - 2007

Mads Jonsson, Heikki Sorsa, Mason Aguirre, and Luke Mitrani worked with Burton to bring you the new Custom Snowboard. This year's model features Pro-Tip construction for reduced swing weight and great handling in the powder, a sintered WFO base for speed, and a lengthened tail for improved switch riding. This legendary freestyle snowboard's Dualzone EGD construction alternates the orientation of its Super Fly II core's wood grains for incredible edge hold and a precise flex. Its Carbon I-Beam fiberglass gives the Custom Snowboard powerful pop while 10:45 sidewalls provide bomber edge strength to meet the demands of aggressive riders. NOTE: You may get a different colored board than the one you see here. We can't control it. But we're sure you'll be stoked. *Available for US Shipment Only.

Bottom Line: With the new Custom Snowboard, Burton took it up a notch to make a freestyle legend even better.

Check Color

By:
May 19, 2008

Its the best all around board you can find, when you are buying from here they don't guaranty what color of board you will get which is a shame.
But i have to admit they guys here tried to find me the color I wanted but they couldn't.
Word of advice check with them about the color.

All Around

By:

I rode a '56 2006 Custom for 2 seasons, 1 year East Coast ice and 1 in the North Cascades pow. Great board for park jumps, the nose and tail are significantly thinner than most, equalling low swing weight. I was dissapointed in the "Infinite Ride" technology, it pretty near completely lost its flex on season 2. It handled surprisingly well as a pow board when mounted set back 2" or so, great for tight trees, little drops, not so much open bowls as it's noodly at speed. Fun to spin around.
It gets a 5 as a brand new board, but very short lived durability, (seems to fall apart as soon as the warrenty ends.)

Custom 158"

By:

The custom is a great board. Offered in so many different sizes and widths there is one for everyone. Great float in powder, the flex is amazing, great pop and rides well in the park on all features. This is a great all mountain board for someone who rides everything.

OMG what a difference

By:
January 21, 2008

I've been riding a 161 Air for years. I decided on a new board this year and picked up a Custom 162. What a difference the forward stance made for me in the park. Carves like a dream and the feel 6 is amazing. Best board I've riden bar none.

Best all mountain board!

This has such a nice feel to it under foot. It for the flex is surprisingly stable at high speeds, carves like a champ, has killer pop, and handles the pow like it was meant for it. Had an incredible time on this board. For sure for the price, well worth it.

Burton Custom 151

By:
April 8, 2008

Bought a Burton Custom 151cm earlier this year, took it out and the board is amazing! Feels great, looks great and I have more control with this board than I ever did before. A Solid Board that won't let you down, no matter your skill level. From Beginner to Expert, this is one of the best.

No Chatty Chatty Bang Bang

By:
January 18, 2008

I rode my new Burton Custom 158 for the first time yesterday and it rocked. My second run i pointed the nose downhill and went as fast as i could, not an ounce of chatter, this ripped up my last board for control and sturdyness. It carves like a beast and the simple but vibrant graphics are sick. Not taken it in the park yet but im sure it will hold up. I love this legendary all mountain machine.

Product Slightly Damaged

By:
March 7, 2008

I received my Burton Custom Board in a timely manner. My only issue with it is that it showed up with a small gouge in the base of the board. I am a bit disappointed that a damaged product arrived at my doorstep.
