Burton CO2 Snowboard Binding - 2007

Burton gave the already lightweight CO2 Binding a new baseplate that's 13% lighter than a regular carbon-composite baseplate. With under-plate dampening to reduce chatter and B3 Gel heel cushioning to take the sting out of rough landings, these ultra-responsive bindings give you the control to stomp huge jumps and shred big mountains. Burton's Air Mesh highback contours to the shape of your leg to optimize energy transfer and take board feel to its absolute limits. The telescoping Superstrap and Super Capstrap always deliver a dialed fit. *Available for US Shipment Only.

Bottom Line: The Burton CO2 Bindings turn up the heat on the mountain but won't contribute to global warming.

Best bindings money can buy, Period.

I own these and a pair of the even more astronomically priced C60s and these are easily the better of the two. I agree with the other reviewer who doesnt agree with their "stiff" rating. I definately wouldnt call them flexy but I certainly dont condiser them super stiff, I'd call them about perfect in my opinion but, then again, I'm 6' 225 lbs and ride a '64 wide custom x that most people call huge.. so I guess these might be very stiff for someone 50 lbs lighter, on a smaller board.

For all the people complaining about the price... that's Burton, either you like their gear and see its worth or its too pricey but you most definately get what you pay for. Not just in terms of the product itself but, should the need arise, their support is second to none.

These binds are light weight, look great, are about as secure as welding your foot to the board (sorry to the reviewer whose foot mysteriously slipped out but I'd chalk that up to user error), have just the right amount of flex and will make you feel like you can take on any terrain with confidence.

Solid, but overrated

These are solid bindings, but sadly they follow the law of diminishing returns. They are comfy, responsive, look cool, and are in all great bindings, but nothing about them screams $330 binding. In fact, they've been replaced by a cheaper $250 pair of bindings as my go-to set. Like the guy who gave these 3 stars, I hate the B3 gel underfoot. It just makes the padding underfoot feel like mush and doesn't make me feel like I'm securely fastened into the binding. People are going to drool over them because they're high-end Burtons, if that matters to you. They're a solid binding, but for the money you ought to be getting a hell of a lot more than "solid."

best tech on the market

These bindings are very light weight and mount extremely well especially to a burton board. The high backs weigh nothing and the flex of the carbon fiber freaks you out at first but after a few runs it creates a fantastic feel. I recommend putting your heel strap on the further back setting to pull you more back than down though, otherwise the toeside doesn't hold as well as it should.
