Burton X8 Snowboard - 2007

The buttery soft flex, twintip shape, and high-end freestyle performance are only half the story with the Burton X8 Snowboard. ICS (Infinite Channel System) mounting on the board provides nearly limitless stances. It works seamlessly with EST bindings for the most dialed board feel ever. Don't have EST bindings? No worries: the X8 comes with a special disk so you can mount any Burton binding. Burton hooked up the X8 Snowboard with an ultra-fast sintered WFO base for speed, a Park Fly III wood core for supreme feel, and burly 10:45 sidewalls for durability. Terrain parks, city rails, powder pillows, and massive booters—the X8 Snowboard rips them all. *Available for US Shipment Only. *We can't control which color base you get. But we're confident you'll dig it.

Bottom Line: Ride the future of freestyle performance when you saddle up the Burton X8 Snowboard.

X8 Rocks!

By:
January 3, 2008

I'm 5'8" and 160 Lbs with a size 8.5 boot and I've been riding the X8 155 and this board rocks. The last three seasons I've had Burton Uninc boards from size 158, 156, and 152. The X8 is softer and more playful, smoother on rails/jibs, and fun to jump. It carves well on high speed groomers, but not as well as the Uninc, because it is softer. Oh, and ICS is awesome, better stance options, and more cushin' on those landings! Great board!

So Sick.

By:

This Board is SICK, approaching Sick Dirty! I don't use the vernacular Sick Nasty, but if someone referred to the board this way, I could not disagree. I call it Le Tigre cause it's soft like a catalog look for footwear...

I can't understand a single thing you're talking about. This review sucks. How about describing some technical terms, or 'jargon' as I'm sure you refer to it as... You're the reason us boarders get a bad rep on the mountain. SickNasty? Is that referring to your hygiene? Let me put it to you in terms you might understand: you'd be better off chillin with the spores on the bunny-hill talking about some trick you saw someone else do. You probably couldn't Do the Dew if you tried...

this board is sweet!! however after one night of riding and buttering i noticed little cracks in the top layer of clear shiny stuff...it didn't seem to affect my riding but at a full price of $550 i was disappointed that it had cosmetic problems...besides that the board is sweet! light, buttery, poppy,

freestyle fresh

I'm the guy that ended up buying 3 boards this season. It's hard to make a decision in the store or online without riding the board. I'm 6'3 190. I bought the 159mm. I rip cliffs and pop parks. This board is f-ing incredible. This is my first Burton. Such a big difference. I like to ride switch a lot and then do some backcountry. This board is just machin' for my style. You gotta get the EST binders. That combo makes it a pretty light setup. Overall, love the pop, luv the radius. and luv the comments on the graphics in the lift line.
