Stash your quiver in the Burton Wheelie Gig Bag and get ready to surf the pow or ride the rails. This rolling snowboard bag holds two planks (with bindings removed) so you're set for whatever snow conditions you encounter. If you're only traveling with one board, pack the board—with bindings attached—in the Wheelie Gig Bag. Full padding protects your boards, so you don't have to give the baggage handlers threatening looks, and an outer boot/binding pocket holds extra gear. Thanks to the custom skate wheel assembly, it's easy to roll the Burton Wheelie Bag through the airport, across the parking lot, and into the ski lodge. The zipper pulls fit TSA-approved locks (not included). *Available for US shipment only.
Bottom Line: The Burton Wheelie Gig Bag holds two snowboards or one board with bindings for your shredding vacations.
This bag does not have the stretch sides and holds a little less than what I hoped it would. I thought that it would have outside zippers for being able to access your boots without opening the bag itself. I also wish they would have put the support strips on the bag of the bag so your boards don't have to add all the support. I bought the Dakine Low Roller bag for my girlfriend and when I saw it I thought about sending my Burton Bag back. I would give it a 7-10. I do know that it was built to take a beating as do all my Burton bags I have owned over the lat 10 plus years!!!
buying a bag on wheels is the smartest thing i have ever done. tons of space for an affordable price. it steers a little slow in those tight radius cambered corners the air port can throw atcha, but it beats the hell out of a tired shoulder.
Great bag, you would think the bag would be made out of flimsy stuff that rips easily, but the inside is lined in tarp that is really durable... there's even a little pocket to shove your gloves in... Two boards and one binding set up can fit in here too... Graphics are great! And the wheels really help in the airport.
I just spent 8 days in Japan with this bag; it held board and bindings, boots, jacket, 2 x riding pants, goggles, gloves etc, and my clothes for the week. Which meant all I needed was a day pack for the flight. It seems durable enough, came through the baggage handling gauntlet unscathed, the wheels make life easy trekking through airport and train terminals, and the colour scheme makes it simple to track it's movements on the carousel. It met all of my expectations.
It's incredible -I can put my trashed board with bindings, stinky boots, dirty underwear in and just let it roll behind me and I still have style in the airport, thanks to the color prints!
