Burton Baker Glove - Men's - 2008

In a search for the ultimate in versatility, Burton gave the Men’s Baker Glove a zippered pocket that allows you to vent on hot days and stash a heat pack on colder ones. Whatever the weather, the waterproof breathable DRYRIDE Durashell fabric and synthetic-leather palms provide protection against the elements. Burton added Thermacore insulation to make the Baker Gloves warm enough for frigid mid-winter days without being too hot for a spring terrain park sesh. - Fall 2008.

Bottom Line: As versatile as your riding style.

Freezing!

By:

These gloves look nice and have really nice material, solid leather, but they do not keep your hands warm at all! I am on the mountain every other day teaching lessons, and my hands have never gotten cold, I bought these cause I have trashed my other pair and used them on a colder spring day and my fingers froze. They ran a little small, and were just plain uncomfortable. The gauntlet doesnt come very high ether and left my wrist exposed for most of the day. If you want a warm weather glove, these are fine, but expect to freeze if it drops below 30

I board in virginia. These gloves are fine on days when the weather is above freeing. They have some great features, and look cool. On the days that it gets into the 20's and below they don't retain much heat. I recently went up to the sloaps and it got to about 15 degrees and i got frostbite 4 times. You can put a handwarmer in them and your palms are fine, but there is nothing like boarding for two hours and having to ditch your friends to go to the cabin to let your hands defrost. For the price they should be much better. I had som spyders before and they were awsome. First pair of Burton gloves and now they are going to be the last.
