Stash your quiver in the Burton Wheelie Gig Bag and get ready to surf the pow or ride the rails. This rolling snowboard bag holds two planks (with bindings removed) so you're set for whatever snow conditions you encounter. If you're only traveling with one board, pack the board with bindings attached in the Wheelie Gig Bag. Full padding protects your boards, so you don't have to give the baggage handlers threatening looks, and an outer boot/binding pocket holds extra gear. Thanks to the custom skate wheel assembly, it's easy to roll the Burton Wheelie Bag through the airport, across the parking lot, and into the ski lodge. The zipper pulls fit TSA-approved locks (not included). *Available for US shipment only.**DISCONTINUED**
Bottom Line: The Burton Wheelie Gig Bag holds two snowboards or one board with bindings for your shredding vacations.
Geeze this thing is huge (181 bag)...i took a 2 day trip to snowbird and was able to bring 1 board with bindings, and everything else i could possibly need for two days on and off the snow, no carry on!...no hassle, and i wasnt worried about any of my stuff cuz its nicley padded. the bag itself weighs 5 pounds, and it was supprisingly easy to stay under the 50 pound limit. Shoulder strap is just kinda peice of crap, uncomfortable and the padding pointless, but thats why it has wheels, which are very convienent. The board has no spine which is bad when youre using it, because rollin can be akward, but great when youre not using it because it can fold into thirds and put away...its a good, not great, bag
I was a bit suprized at how nice this bag is especially for the price. Plenty of room for all the gear, and the bonus board tool was pretty darn cool. Can't wait to hit Whistler in December and I'm traveling from Florida so we will see how well this bag holds up...
This bag is a lifesaver.... i put my board with bindings still attached, two pair of boots, two helmets, two jackets, crashpads, three pair of jeans, two shirts, two belts, gloves, and it all fit perfectly,..... and its like it weighed nothing as a result of the conveinent wheels. I LOVE THIS BAG ! ! ! ! Thanks DogFunk for the un beatable price to boot
This bag is nice and looks even better. I had a 181 Burton bag before that worked fine, but it was too big. This bag is awesome and seems to be well made.
you can fit more than two boards in this without bindings plus still have room for gear. i've had no problems whatsoever in two seasons except a little wear on the bottom. ya' hear that, baggage handlers, yer' dinging my gear!
over all, it is a good bag with lots of room.. i could fit 2 board decks a pair of bindings and my size 13 boots and still had extra room for a lot of my clothes.. however, dont pack it too tight, because the zippers will either rip off of the fabric (on the small front pocket) or the "heavy-duty" zippers on the main compartment will literally break off. GOOD BAG, just not as heavy duty as it seems, so be careful
