Burton Clash Snowboard - 2008

The Burton Clash Snowboard is all systems go. Burton designed the Clash with a fun and forgiving flex that absorbs the shart on the hill and softens the impact in the park. Rock the Casbah all over the mountain with Fly Core technology, which thins the core directly under your feet and creates more freestyle flex and torsion. A Lightspeed Vision Base provides a wickedly quick ride, even without wax. - Fall 2008.

Bottom Line: Even the Shareef likes it.

Excellent value

This is a great board for the price. Fast, carves well, and up until the last day of the season (REALLY SLUSHY), never caught an edge. Good feel underneath you...haven't taken it into the park tho. I had rented up until this spring season and felt an immediate difference and definite improvement in my skills all from having a solid board beneath me. Would recommend for beginner/intermediate. I'm a female, 5'11 and the women's boards didn't come long enough - I went with a 158 and love it.

Burton Clash

Moved up to the 155 from a smaller size and the only trouble I have had is getting used to the difference in spacing my weight. Once I got used to it though, loved the new board. The flex is perfect for absorbing shock from landings as well as making the tight turns in the backcountry. GREAT buy.

Having a size 12 pretty much pushes you into a full wide board. It is always good to be safe.

i cant believe how well this board handles. my first run down the mountain, i was blowin all my friends away. its not the fastest board out there but it definately ranks up at the top especially for the price. it will also really surprise you how well it handles sharper curves even through the icier parts of the mountain. i would recommend this board to anybody

If I wear size 13 boots, can i ride this board without any drag?

Nope... Upgrade to the Bullet, same board just wider. You need at least a 26.0cm waist width with a size 13 boot or you're going to get toe drag. If you're really set on this board you can get a pair of elevator plates to put on it so you don't get toe drag.

the clash is a perfect freestyle board for the rider whos in between beginner and advanced. Super light and fast so it makes a good mountain board, but its got good flex when u need it for throwin shit down in the park. i give it a 4.5 i def. love it
