A favorite of advancing freeriders and anyone on a budget, Burton's Moto Snowboard Boot proves that you don't have to break the bank to get quality performance. This boot offers time-tested basics to riders looking for trickle-down top-end construction. Burton gave the Moto a new lacing system that locks your foot in with one quick pull of the single lace cable. The Moto's two-part outsole is soft enough to cushion landings but gives you the sensitivity you want underfoot for sliding rails or even just learning to ride. The unique shell design, featuring anatomical wrapping, gives the Moto superior hold that keeps your boot snug from the top of the boot down. - Fall 2008.
Bottom Line: Burton boots that won't evaporate your bankroll.
Hands down I think the Burton Moto is the best boot ever produced. I have the same pair and have been using them since 07'. Pretty sure it has been the best selling boot Burton has ever made. It just rocks. Nice flex, good lacing system, and keeps your heel locked! Great choice for anyone. Board safe homies!
I was a little optimistic about the lacing system at first but it proved to be a full proof design. Very fast lacing and very durable. I feared I would snap something while yanking on the lace but everything held nicely. I used them for a full season and no problems with the lacing whatsoever. For the price you can't go wrong but if you have deeper pockets go for a more responsive and comfortable boot. I have since moved onto the BOA system and couldn't be happier.
Just used mine this past weekend for the first time, and all the fears I had about buying boots without trying them on first were put to rest. Fit my Burton bindings perfectly, kept me warm, and looked good. The laces are easy and reliable, too, even if they're not BOAs. What else could you ask for?
These boots are awesome.....by far the best boots i've ever bought. great lacing system....very easy stay on tight..........if u want to get new boots begginner or expert get the Burton Moto's
i have taken these boots up about 7 or 8 times this year and i have to say that of all the boots i have ever owned these dont need to be broken in. from the second you take them out of the box they fit like you have been riding with them for a couple seasons already
You just pull handle upwards to tighten, and they pull and lock backwards into the jam cleats and forward to release. There are some videos here explaining boot tech and other Burton features: http://www.burton.com/Tech/Default.aspx
I got these boots for Christmas in Black/white color. These are really comfortable when you do the imprint technology thing. The way to tighten your boots is hard when you have the size 13. and they kinda get annoying but they are better than any other boot i have had. Very nice and stiff.
Well I have absolutely nothing to compare these to since they are the first boots I've ever had, but I rode on them for 2 full days and they were very comfortable, never came loose in the middle of a run, and kept my feet warm. They don't have as much flex as I wanted but still a good boot for the price.
yer i have had these boots for 2 yrs but my current ones have had it, a good boot cheap and they look awsome! if you have the money go for the sl series but if not just buy the moto's!!
I got the last year model. All i have to say is awesome. Takes about 2 minutes to put on due to the speed lace system. There really nice. Keep my feet warm and dry. I haven't had a problem with them yet.
So I got these boots after reading the reviews and they got pretty high marks! I am not really sure what the people who wrote those reviews were wearing previously but these are not the boots for someone who has riding more than 2 seasons. I have been riding for 14 years and I thought I could get away with ridding a cheap pair of boots after riding Ions for the last 3 seasons. I was wrong! If you are just starting out these are great boots, If your have been riding awhile I would not settle for anything less than the Ruler.
the lacing system on these is awesome. they tighten real nice and stay tight. you can have your boot on in a few seconds while your friend has to stay and lace them. great boot
I bought these boots a few weeks ago and just had the chance to use them this past weekend. The lacing system allows you to put them on very quickly and stay tight all day. They are also ver yvery warm boots and supply good support so your feet won't hurt after a day on the hill. I am definately glad I bought these boots!
i havn't tried these out in the snow yet, seeing as how there is no snow :(... but these look and feel sick!! i just tried them on and the lacing system is easy, fast, and tight... and they fit great in my burton freestyles... cant wait for snow!!!!
These boots are pretty good, not the best in my opinion. They fit a little tight cause of the liner but it does stretch out a bit. As for the lacing system, it stays tight while you ride but there is no good place to put the ends and they usually end up dragging.
I rode these on the east coast on some groomers and they were fine, but once i got out to Colorado and hit some powder, and more challenging terrain, i found that my foot was moving around too much inside of the boot (Yes they are the right size). As someone who all mountain rides, I need quick response from my boots, but if my feet are moving around that increases the effort and time neccessary to make my board respond. They did not stay tight for long and it is kind of a pain to find a spot to put the cable ends. These boots put a serious damper on my weekend, buy them if you are a beginner or only riding groomers.
I've owned these boots for the last few years so I purchased these thinking they would be pretty similar... wrong. The single pull lacing is a joke compared to the two zone system of the previous year, and although I sized the boot correctly I am getting tons of heel lift. Looks like the Rulers will be getting at my bank account this year. On a positive note it is nice to know Backcountry.com will take care of my return, thanks guys!
these boots are amazing.my feet never get cold or wet and they are really good for park.they are really stiff witch is good and the quick ties are grate.dont lisen to anyone about the quick ties lots of people dont trusht them when they are grate!these boots are also have a grate price!!!buy these boots!!!!!!
This boots r really good!!!! they r warm and fit super on ur feet sometimes u even forget u have boots on lol! And the price is super cheap this website has the best deals in the country. if u r reading this don't waste any more time and buy them the boots worth the money :)
yup ive got the motos along with some 32 lashed. the right foot tears easily if u support the board with it in the lift, even after the second day. while one is riding the motos, they definately tend to loosen up throughout the day a i find myself continually tightening them. its not cus im a tard either. other wise i guess there good if u learning...
