Lace up Burton's skate-inspired Men's Hail Snowboard Boot, storm the terrain park, and watch everyone run for cover. The Hail's articulating cuff gives this medium-flex freestyle boot two distinct flex zones for forward mobility, increased response, and better heel hold. The super-light outsole features integrated air cushioning to absorb tremendous amounts of shock on rail hits and big drops without sacrificing board feel. The Hail's heat-moldable EVA footbed supports and cushions your foot, while ESS shanks increase response. The new Hail Snowboard Boots feature special rubber soles that harden to form traction-enhancing spikes in freezing temps. *Available for US Shipment Only. - Fall 2008.
Bottom Line: Burton's Hail Snowboard Boots give you a natural feel and tons of slop-free agility in the park.
Probably the most comfortable boot i've worn yet! Lite weight and a lot of flex.. The adjustable ankle locks are what sold me.. It was almost like riding a new board going from a stiff boot to a soft, -i'd say board responce went from a 3 to a 10, paired with a set of cartel highback bindings - I was tear'n up the mountain, everything from free-ride'n to the half pipe.. Though do to how soft they are i would make a slight binding adjustment and strap in a little tighter for a free-ride down the mountain! -i'd recommend these to any experienced rider who likes to live on the edge...
this binding is sick... everything you need to slay the park with crazy freestyle tricks and stomped landings, it has amazing cushion great response and flex
normally no, but i got a trick up my sleeve, since it will help DF/Backcountry make a sale and help out a fellow boarder :-)

enter "Hail" into the search bar and find the boots (first result), pick your size and then add to cart...i just did this process and the total for these boots was $131.97
contrary to what the anonymous reviewer has stated above, the hail is a completely soft jib/park/street boot... i doubt he knows what a stiff freeride boot actually feels like if he is labeling these as stiff... the hail is definitely comfy, but they will no doubt pack out because of how much flex and softness the liner has; expecially for '09, as burton has switched the hail from their imprint liner line to their new park series liners (should be even softer and flexier this season)... again, i can't stress enough how UN-freeride these boots are... but take these for a spin in the park, and you most likely will not be disappointed by the hail's comfort and tweakability...
