Burton Jeremy Jones Snowboard Boot - Men's

Jeremy Jones is a freestyle madman and a stubborn bastard—and you should thank him. He challenged Burton not only to build his signature boot to his exact specs, but to put it within reach of the average shredder’s bank account. And since he’s Jeremy Jones, that’s exactly what Burton did. Jeremy requested the Flex 2 Liner, which offers plenty of lateral flex without forgetting about edge to edge response. This boot offers more support than the glorified sneakers some jibbers wear, but it’s flexible enough to make those ollies, grinds, and presses feel smooth as butter. B3 Gel cushioning swallows impact on those flat landings and won’t crumble after a season of hard riding, and the J-Bar system lets you customize the level of heel-hold to meet your needs. - Fall 2008.

Bottom Line: A freestyler’s wet dream at a haggler’s price. Thanks, Jeremy.

Great so far

By:

I have worn Burton Sabbaths for the past four years and have really liked them. I am 6'0 and 190lbs, and like to ride park and all mountain so I was skeptical about getting these boots fearing they would not be supportive enough. So far they are great! No issues with support, so comfortable, and they have all the same internal features as the sabbaths. So far I can't really notice the flex difference. A few things to be aware of though. The insole of this boot is flat, where as most snowboard boots have a more forward lean to them. Not bad or uncomfortable, just different. Maybe thats why they don't feel like they have more flex? Also the leather/pleather/ suede, on the outside is pretty cheap. After a couple of wears it loses its color(black model) and kind of gets matted down. It's just cosmetic and does not take any functionality away from the boot itself. Overall these boots kick ass so far! Great boot for only $200.

i have had the same exact problem as you. i love burton but there customer service has gone downhill over the last couple of years like with these boots i told them there must be somthing with the liners because they have no support and my feet kill after 20 minutes of riding they told me that i should go out and spend 40 bucks of my own money and buy super feet insoles. dissapointed

The best boot on Earth, no questions asked.

After trying and riding dozens of boots over the years, I know the feel of a good park boot, trust me. When I tried this new boot on at my local shop after being measured up, I was blown away by the comfort and heel hold of this boot. I was also shocked to hear all the technology built into the Jeremy Jones boots... everything from Aegis antimicrobial liners to combat foot funk to a Shrinkage and EST midsole combination for ultimate board feel... all for under two hundred dollars! Best boot ever, long live Jeremy Jones!

worst liners burton makes

By:
February 23, 2009

burton tried to make a high end soft park liner (the Flex 2) this season; one that would be soft and flexy for jibs but also be able to ramp up support when needed... they failed miserably. after just one day, this liner was mush... after twenty, this liner was thrashed... i noticed after my first day on these that the liners started to pack out a lot more than normal... pack out mostly occurs in the heels and these liners were becoming increasingly thin in the heel area, so much so that i started feeling pressure from my binding heelcup... the heel area of the liners are now paper thin (wouldn't be surprised if a hole started to develop) and almost all of the foam has worn through... also, the interior lining of the liner has begun to tear, revealing the inside foam... i don't see these boots lasting through the season... they are entirely too soft even just for park... they have no support whatsoever for any sized park features except your small to medium sized jibs... forget about taking these off any larger tables as you'll be playing russian roulette with your ankles... the only situation i can see using these happily is if you do a lot of urban street setup riding... burton has a lot of work to do to improve these 'park-specific' liners for 2010...
