Burton Baker Mitten - Women's

You won’t find the Burton Women's Baker Mitts in the kitchen. So don’t use these heavyweight mitts to take something out of the oven … unless you want to thrash the waterproof 2-layer DryRide Ultrashell material and burn holes in the woolly fleece lining. The Toughgrip-X Palm can handle sharp snowboard edges and the Thermacore insulation laughs at the cold, but they don’t take well to burning hot brownies coming out of the oven. On the other hand, the Baker Mitt's back-of-hand pocket can handle the heat—open it to circulate air or stash a heat packet in there for comfort.

Bottom Line: Not for cooking.
