Burton Cartel Snowboard Binding

If you want to master the shrediverse, the Burton Cartel Snowboard Binding better be rockin’ under your feet. This super-lightweight binding maxes out on comfort thanks to FullBED and B3 Gel Heel Cushioning, while the ergonomically canted Team Skyback II highback and the super-minimized Ultra Capstrap give you the control you need to rule over the gapers like a god.

  • Living Hinge Team Skyback II Highback eliminates excess hardware and weight and allows you to adjust your forward lean for ultimate control
  • Cored Ultrastrap Air ankle strap minimizes bulk while providing excellent hold
  • Ultra Capstrap toe strap rides over your foot or toe for control and comfort
  • FullBED Cushioning System offers a full coverage platform to minimize fatigue and maximize comfort
  • B3 Gel Heel Cushioning adds even more padding for huge stomps
  • Single-Component 30% Short-Glass/nylon composite baseplate gives you extra power and response without sacrificing mobility

Bottom Line: Give’em hell.

Strap Yourself into a Cloud

Best bindings I've bought. Everything about them is perfect. The toe strap keeps your boot in place and the ankle strap feels like its stuffed with down. Its padded practically everywhere on the binding and the accents of diamond plate on the black version is sick. I got the 2008 style and love it. You don't have to buy the most expensive bindings to get the right choice.

If there were more than five stars on this thing i'd give them all to the cartels, from big peaks to park these things jam! I've ridden two different sets now and i'll never go back, the high back is high enough to cut as sharp as you want, but you can still get your tweak on! Buy these

I would suggest the P1... for two reasons (and keep in mind that you said you want it for a jib board)

- Its softer flexing with a dual component tray... A stiffer polycarbonate (with slight nylon composite) around the heal spur gives you toe to heal drive, but a softer polycarbonate underfoot makes it way fun and JIBBY!

- The hi-back is slightly lower in height, and does not have as much forward lean built into it. Very jibber-rific!

Both have great cushioning, wicked comfy straps, sturdy buckles, and lifetime warranties on the trays.

Either one will stoke you out, but I drop my two cents on the P1!!!

These are great bindings. The highback gives you extra control in the park but the binding is still stiff enough to handle steep chutes. The capstrap is an extra added feature that really locks your heel in place. Definitely a must buy
