i wear a size 10 in juniors pants because i have big legs should i get a large? and will the waistband gap since my waist isn't a size 10?

I would suggest a large! Also, the waistband has an internal velcro cinching system that you would never notice from the outside, but it helps to adjust things so the waist should be fine.

Get S or even XS (since you were junior size) and see if it fits, Im between 4-5 myself, got medium pants last season and they were too baggy... I have Burton pants in black and they look very simple and kinda borring, if i were you i would def go with the blue.. ..Im shopping for colorful pants right now too! :)) Go color!! :)
