Love For The Chopper

By:
August 13, 2008

I absolutely love this jacket. I'm a size 4-5 and the size small was perfect. Love the slim fit and length. The sleeves definitely were a little long as most of the other reviews mentioned but I prefer them that way... nice coverage over the gloves. The powder skirt did its job... Tested in tough terrain; this jacket is warm enough for a heli-trip and cool enough for a night out on the town!

Chopper, a non-stopper

By:
March 24, 2008

I love this years Chopper jacket. Burton improved it in all the right areas. I also have the 2007 chopper jacket & the 08 is much better. There are more pockets, longer sleves & warmer insulation throughout. And to top it off it rocks on totally stylish level.

Love it!

Just back from boarding in Switzerland and the jacket was great!
it ain't very warm but has all the possible featutures that you need. It keeps snow and wind out and for cold weather its wide enough to fit a warm layer under it without looking chubby. The sleeves are very long which keeps the snow out. The jacket is comfortable and not too short like some others that i tried.

For this price i would almost say that you cant find a better deal.

I am 6 feet tall and a little skinny... size L fitted me great.

Gnarly versatility

By:
January 29, 2008

This jacket is very versatile. It looks great for those cold days on campus at school with street close, and also on the slopes. It's not to warm so you can wear it on warmer days in spring and stay dry but its warm enough for those cold days with a layer under it. I think it doubles as a rain coat too. Very waterproof. so many pockets to keep shit in when your pants dont have them.

Great jacket!

By:
February 18, 2008

I really love this jacket. I bought the pink one worrying it would be too pink. But it's GREAT! It looks amazing and it does the trick for both snowboarding and skiing. The goggle pocket, the iPod pocket and the handwarming pockets are just some of the things that make me excited every time I put this jacket on. On the coldest days I have to wear a hoodie underneath, but that's no problem, when the jacket is as great as this one.

Great gear!

By:
March 25, 2008

Love this jacket! I would have normally taken a medium, but read other reviews and bought a small for the long arms, jacket's long length, and somewhat narrow bodice...works perfectly! I should have purchased the same jacket with liner for hard winter boarding (a medium in that version), but on warm spring days, this jacket is the best! Looks great and stays amazingly clean (white). Will stay with Burton!

Big sleeves, tight on the body, good price

By:
March 10, 2008

I was a bit unhappy with this jacket because I find it disproportional: in order for the sleeves to fit, it gets a bit tight on the body, and still the sleeves are a bit longer than of a usual jacket. It got more tight when I put all the necessary layers underneath to go to the top of the mountain.
Anyway I decided to keep it mainly because it's a good price/quality relationship. It is waterproof; kind of warm; it covers the butt and I loved the pink!

Large and in charge

By:
November 15, 2007

I liked this jacket, but it was too big for me. I'm a size 10ish, and it was a little too big & the sleeves were freakishly long. I exchanged it for the medium, but it hasn't come yet. We'll see.

nothing special

By:
March 11, 2008

I wear this jacket for work since it's a part of the uniform. It looks decent, but the waterproofing isn't stellar by any means. I wouldn't wear this to ride around off the clock. With only critically taped seams and an 8k rating, it really won't keep you all that dry. One thing I did like about it was the slippery interior that makes it easy to take off instead of getting stuck on your layers underneath.
