Burton Hail Snowboard Boot - Men's

Your busser’s wages don’t exactly put you in the lap of luxury, but they do get you the Burton Men’s Hail Snowboard Boot and daylight hours off to ride, ride, and ride some more. Burton built these boots for lapping the park till your legs cramp, but the Hails can take on the slopes when necessary, such as after that two-foot dump. New oversized airbags ease the shock of hard landings, and flex zones allow for enhanced mobility without sacrificing response.

  • New oversized 270-degree airbag covers 75% of the midsole to absorb impact when you land
  • Articulating cuffs allow upper and lower parts of the boots to flex independently to maximize heel hold and assure mobility
  • The Hail’s Flex Spine Backstay allows for lateral and medial flex while maintaining edge-to-edge support
  • Stay Puft Capsule airbag on the exterior of the boot’s cuff cushions your calf where it hits your binding’s highback
  • Flex 2 liners with TaiPanels balances smooth flex with strategically placed panels for solid support
  • Flex Cuffs hug your ankles to enhance heel hold without losing the forgiveness needed for street and park

Bottom Line: Engineered for the park.

I love these boots. As the description says, they are geared a bit towards the park because of the lack of rigidity as compared to some of the stiffer boots (ion, etc). All in all though they are great boots for all mountain versatility. I have the Burton Hail boots, with Cartel bindings and a Custom 158cm. I have had many other combinations but if you enjoy riding all over the mountain, these boots are a great and purchase.
