DAKINE Heli Pro 20L Winter Pack - 1200cu in

If you're heading into the backcountry but don't want a massive load on your back, look to the DAKINE Heli Pro 20L Backpack. With 1200 cubic inches of interior space, it gives you a not-too big, but not-too small option for forays into the great white yonder. So pack some extra clothes and a lunch into the main compartment, slide your avie shovel and probe into the quick-access front pocket, and skin up. If you have to hike, strap your board(s) in the ski or snowboard carry systems. DAKINE tricked out this pack with a fleece-lined goggle pocket, a waterproof camera pocket, and an insulated sleeve for your hydration system.

Bottom Line: DAKINE's powerhouse pack for day trips into the backcountry.

great backpack

this is an awesome pack, i havent used it on any backcountry adventures but using it as day pack around the resort is pretty sweet. Hydration compatible is really nice, the backpack is pretty low profile, not a hassle on the lift, straps/belt are comfortable but pretty sweaty (but remain stink free). goggle pocket is big enough for my von zipper feenoms. stuff is as full as you can and then the compression straps will take it down about a third size, i LOVE that. not a fan of the lack of pockets but this is a sweet pack regardless. plus goin on 3 years and its indestructable.

Sweat pack for all around gear. I haven't had a chance to use it up on the mountain but can't wait. The bag is not as big as my last pack but it keeps me from packing too much crap. Everything looks and feels solid. Note I think it takes a full month to break in the pads. Shotgun Red all the way!
