I ordered one of these a couple of weeks ago. These are very nice shoes, but they're not that comfortable to wear on the first time. But once you get use to them, they're awesome. I wear them to school everyday...great shoes.

DC Shoes prides itself in making stylish and functional shoes. DC Manteca 2 offers both. It has padding for comfort but still allows you to feel you board.

Oh yeah, definitely made for skateboarding. It does not have a thin sole with real good board feel. It is a more padded sole to cushion for landings and aid against causing heel bruises.

These are definitley rad skate shoes, as far as anything else, they are not really comfortable to wear on really long walks or hikes and they are not the best mountainboarding shoes. They are not super well-padded like some skateshoes are, but the tounge has great padding so it holds your foot down well. Once you break them in they are super. They are responsive to the skateboard and your foot feels like one with the shoe.
