The flex fit works perfect. The splatter is "dye cut" plaid stuff that looks, feels and gives the hat some nice texture. For $15 at -40% you can't go wrong.

The S/M is actually quite big though. I'm 57cm around my head and normally wear S/M. This is quite roomy.

I am very particular about hats, but I ended up buying a white and black one because the price was right. I love the fit, simplicity and unique design.

I normally wear about a 7-1/4 pro-fit style hat, and the S/M was perfect and slightly snug as my hair is a little longer than normal (says 6-7/8 to 7-1/4 on the inside band).
