The Volcano GA is not bike specific so it won't have the reinforced footbed you would find in a true BMX or bike shoe. It does have a standard skate style sole so it is tough and durable.

The Volcano GA is built as a skate shoe and not a bike specific shoe so it would all depend on the type of biking you would do. If you are into heavy downhill or dirt course riding I wouldn't recommend them. Go with something more bike specific. If you are going to be doing some light trail riding, city riding, freestyle, or park I say go for it. It should hold up fairly well.
