Yes it has a synthetic insulation but it is not a heavily insulated jacket. Just a nice amount so you can still move well on those tweaked methods.

Out of the the 3 DC jackets I own, this is my fave. It has so many little compartments and a week later after wearing I discovered a eye glass cleaning cloth inside the inner pocket. It keeps you snug and comfortable but not for weather below 20 degrees.

Really interested in this jacket, although im afraid its not going to keep me warm enough. Does anyone know if this jacket is warm? what is the insulation like inside? Do you have to wear a hoodie under it to be warm? Im looking for a jacket that is warm enough for me to wear just a T shirt, it doesnt get colder than 20 degrees really here.

Fits perfect - Color isn't so white that its going to be dirty quickly. Fur on collar snaps on and off. Tons of Pockets! Really cute and flattering!

yes it does have them but i am 105 pounds, 5foot4 inches tall, cup size 36B and a large was tight. i would like an extra large to fit my body right. the thumbholes on the large went wayy out if your arms are extremely long maybe it will fit right

I bought this jacket in black, and I love it! I bought it in a medium, and I usually wear a medium in everything. I'm 5'6 and about 130 lbs. It's not tight, but it is more fitted than a down jacket and not as tight as a hoodie. I haven't worn in snowboarding yet, but it's great on cold days in Colorado.

Also consider her shoulder width and her bust. I'm 5'6", about 130, with a small bust but broad shoulders and a large fits perfectly. Plus this stuff is tend to be cut smaller to "hug" the body so think about if she likes to wear stuff loosely or tightly (and what she'll layer with it). At least a large, but maybe an XL? Always better to have more room! Hope this helps.
