DC Ace Insulated Pant - Women's - 2008

Throw on the DC Women’s Ace Insulated Pant and start making moves at your local mountain. This cozy snowboard pant waits patiently and then blows up the park like Kimmy Fasani. This standard-fit pant delivers enough protection to keep riding all day in most conditions. Strap on the Ace’s suspenders, or leave them down to show off your punk image. DC added warm insulation so you don’t freeze up and seize up when you’re working on perfecting your stunts. When you’re in the après spot after a killer day, use DC’s Shant control to keep your pant cuffs from ripping on the ground.

Bottom Line: DC knows you’re ready to be the ace.

dissapointed

I'm 5'10'' and 144 lbs and I normally wear a 6 or an 8 in pants. I ordered these pants in a medium and they were way too short. The material is very stiff but shiny like a baby diaper.

Furthermore, the cut of the pants is really strange- the hips stuck out like old fashioned horse-jockey jodhpurs. I consider myself to have an 'athletic' (not rail thin) body type and I didn't fill out the hips at all. In my opinion, they just looked goofy like I should have stuffed them with tissue paper.

I got these as a gift from my mom for my birthday and I LOVE THEM! The way they fit on my body is perfect, the vents are amazing and the material (I experimented) is waterproof. Definitely worth their dollar!

A little baggy

By:

I seriously love these pants. Always loved DC outerwear. I am 5'1" so they are a little bit long on me. Wouldn't recommend to someone who is super tall tho. They are perfect fit in the waste and a little baggy in the thighs and butt. Steezy enough on the bottom where they are baggy but not so baggy that I look like a dude. I dig the hanging suspender style but they are removable if yr not into that.
Also, love that the bottoms are unzippable from the inner side. They are super warm, only wear them with my midweights and socks. And if it gets too steamy, air vents on the inner thigh.
My only concern is they are a little stiff but I guess that is better to keep the moisture out.

Love these!

I saw these pants on another skiier and knew I had to have them, 2 weeks later they were on me! I love them! People stop me all the time and compliment me on these pants. They kept me warm in very cold conditions, and are very comfortable to wear even in a race tuck! Best pants I've ever owned.

great!

A few things.... First, cobblestone is actually a light plaid, its not a solid khaki color as it appears in the large picture. You can kinda see it on the logo closeup, but check out the DC Beacon pants and they have lots of fabric close ups. Although i like the plaid i really wanted a flat solid color. On to the fit...im 5'7' and 140 lbs--i have fairly wide hips and solid legs and the medium fits good, but its slim fit--which i love cause all my other snowboarding pants are super baggy. Features--I love the vents--these can be semi rare on an insulated pant. Only complaint is that the zipper on the bottom by the boots is too small--no big deal for snowboarding, but will be obnoxious when i ski in them cause i undo my boots for the gondola ride and ill have to pull up the pant and the gaiter. otherwise they are warm and waterproof!
