The EMU Stinger Hi Boot is made of suede, which will do a great job of keeping the cold and wet out, but I would highly recommend getting a suede protector. You can usually find it at a local shoe store that would sell a lot of leather shoes, or you may even be able to find it in you local grocery store over by where all the knick knacks are. You know that stupid isle with the random garbage, shoe laces, polish, etc.
