Element Omahigh High Top Skate Shoe - Men's

Don't try skating in those vintage '85 hightops you bought off eBay—they'll disintegrate the second they touch grip. Lace up the Element Men's Omahigh Skate Shoes for old school court style and all-out skateable function. Team skater Brent Atchley designed the Omahighs with the look and comfort of vulcanized high tops, but with added durability and cushioning. Element achieved this through cold-connect construction, which incorporates the foams and reinforcements of traditional cupsole shoes into a low-profile silhouette. This slim design works with EVA padding to give you excellent board feel and lots of support.

The two that are listed online are made of leather and not suede, making them slightly more durable. If you are looking for an Element shoe that will last longer I recommend the Darrell. There are plenty of high tops to choose from that may last longer. Look at Ipath Grasshopper, Supra Skytop or Vaider in TUF, or my personal favorite, the Nike Oncore High.

Well it is a suede cupsole shoe, so not the most durable, they are really going for board feel with this shoe. I would recommend something that is either full grain leather or has a rubber toe cap for protection.
