Fabulous

I just ordered these and rocked them on my technine jib board...havent got to hit the park yet (I need snow for that) but looking forward to it! Compared to the technine bindings I had on the board these are wayyyy more solid, love the toe straps to keep that heel locked in. And the comfort level on these bindings are awesome!!....like putting a teddy bear in your binding and duck taping it there....real soft yet secure.

I Cannot Find a Better Binding For the Price (And I've Looked)

By:
October 26, 2009

I rode these things about 25 days last season and they are wonderful. I like stiffer binders that know what I am thinking and respond before my feet do and here they are. I have gone though Burton Customs, Forum Arenas, and Burton Triads. These are by far my favorite. The straps are like pillows, and the green color looks much less crazy on your board than in this picture. I love the color (all personal preference anyways), the buckles don't get stuck, and my straps have not worn out yet. These even took a shot to the parking lot after I drove out of the resort without closing my roof rack. Cosmetics aside, they still perform the same as day 1. I have also had no screw/part loosening issues. Although I currently have Union Force bindings on my main stick, my loaner/urban riding board still has these babies on it. I had the L/XL bindings on a regular width board and my 8.5 Burton boots fit almost perfect because I liked the bigger plush feeling. The foot bed was just a little bit too wide for my preference, but like I said - totally willing to trade for the big straps. I prefer the Forces just a little but was VERY pleased with these - especially for the price! WOW!

They are average in weight, and not crazy stiff. They are 7/10 on the stiffness scale but you laterally there is a fair amount of give, great binding. If you are looking for a softer binding the Faction would be perfect.

Better than a foot massage.

I think the best way to judge a binding is on strap comfort, and this binding has some of the best straps I've ever ridden. I think they must have cut up those memory foam mattresses and slapped that in to the ankle strap, because I swear you can't feel any pinch points. Buy this binding and leave your friends in the lodge nursing their broke ass feet who weren't as smart as you.

Wonderful Bindings

By:
January 14, 2009

I don't own the 2009's, but I do own the 2008 Republics... wow. These bindings are amazing, it seems like the 2009s are just as good, because people are saying how comfortable they are. I might add, that the stability and the response I get from the bindings is amazing. Get them, you won't be sorry.

Worth Every Penny

By:

These are by far the dopest bindings on this site. Paired with a dece set of clogs, your feet will never, and I mean never, hurt again after an all day stomp fest. I agree with the other reviews that these provide a dank performance. Great response, fully adjustable, and no pinch points what-so-ever. The straps are easy in-easy out. Toe strap really pulls your boot into the back pocket so there is absolutely no boot movement or extra space between your boot and binding. I bought a Large and wear size 12 boots, I could not be happier.

The cushioning in the ankle strap is a combination of lightweight open cell EVA combined with a dual layer lycra mesh. Super cush.

I've just made the switch from over-the-toe straps to toe-caps with these bindings and I've never been happier with my riding. These binding are comfortable (no trouble with pressure points) and their response is great. They are very adjustable as well to fit most any type of boot. Doesn't hurt that they look great too.

Super Comfortable

By:
February 23, 2009

These bindings are super dope and comfortable. I was ridding the 08-09 T9 MFM Pro bindings and they were comfy but would fall apart often as the screws holding the straps together weren't very good. I purchased these Republics and I am loving them.... when your strapped in you don't even feel them on, light and get the job done. I would recommend!

The Bomb

By:
July 16, 2009

These are the best bindings I have ever had, not that i have had more than one pair of bindings. But I know what I need in bindings and these do the job just right. Only thing one minor bad thing, and it realy is quite minor is that under the baseplate there is no padding, This is nothing really it just makes it a loud binding when you are in a soft room. I have no yet tested them though so they will probily brake in and it will not be a problem.

Good so far

By:
July 23, 2009

I picked these up for my new board for this season and also as backups or replacements in case my old Burtons fail me (screws keep coming loose). They may just become my #1 bindings. Even if I can't ride them yet I still opened up the box and made sure they survived shipping and would fit my boots (men's size 9 burton, medium binding).

I am extremely impressed with the quality of these bindings. The straps are snugly and securely attached, everything takes a bit of force to move. These things don't feel flimsy or floppy. Once I had the footbed lengthened and straps approximately located, I put the boot on and strapped in with my foot in the boot. Man these bindings are plush. I tightened them down as much as I could and didn't feel an pressure points, unlike my old bindings. These things lock you down but don't seem to punish you for it.

I can't wait to ride these this winter.

One sick binding

By:
June 12, 2009

I just got these in a few weeks ago and look/feel absolutely sick. I can't wait for the snow so I can get out there and test these bad boys out. Just strapping in they feel nice and comfortable and I don't need two hands to thread the straps into clamps (big pet peve) because they seem to line up well.
