Gnu Danny Kass MTX Snowboard - 2008

Let's look at the facts. Danny Kass—two-time Olympic Silver medalist—uses his pro model GNU MTX Snowboard to rip pipes a new one. Maybe he's on to something. The Magne-Traction edges make icy pipes feel freshly groomed and keep you from washing out at the wrong moment (as if there's a right one). GNU's fast sintered 9900 base provides the speed needed to go huge on the first hit and keep flying on every transfer. This GNU board even includes a snappy Mervin AG2 core to give it the extra bit of pop needed to squeeze out that 900.

Bottom Line: Danny's secret weapon.

Gnu Danny Kass MTX Snowboard

My very first board, from the moment I rode it I knew I was on a winner! The board did what I wanted it to, as I ski in Australia the icy conditions suited this board to a tee ;)

I have ridden many rentals, when I searched and choose this one as soon as I got it I felt very confident, which can make it very dangerous, anyway no injuries!

Thanks Dogfunk!

you could probably get away with a size 11 boot for that board. you might toe drag every once in a while but thats no biggie.

best board i've ever had.. after owning Burton Custom, Ride DH2, K2 Weapon a couple Forum boards and riding a few of my mates boards, I'll never be able to own another board without magnetraction. it's a great all mountain board and very good in the park, it's fairly stiff so good at high speeds also. I live in Australia so icy conditions are common, the magnetraction allows me to fly down the mountain while other people are slipping over or hardly moving due to lack of confidence in their board. Being such a bright board with sick graphics it gets a lot of attention and can be seen from ages away. i'll more than likely buy another one of these boards, although i might try out the Gnu Danny Kass BTX

This happened to me after about 20 times one it, bout 2 months.. I took it to the store I bought it and GNU replaced it under warranty. It took forever to get it back though, 6 weeks about, I wasn't too happy. Luckily the place I bought it from was cool and let me take a demo Burton T6 whenever I needed it. As long as it doesn't look like you hit a tree or anything, you shouldn't have a problem getting it warrantied.

Denis, this warranty info is straight from GNU Snowboards: "All products made by Mervin Mfg have a one year warranty against manufacturer’s defect. This is provided by us for those products sold through Mervin’s Authorized Dealers only. It covers defects in materials and workmanship. This does not cover normal wear and tear, excessive abuse by riding things other than snow, or impacts due to your steering problems. You must keep your sales receipt when you purchase a Mervin Mfg. product. This is your proof of purchase and you will need to show this if you need to warranty your product. It is good for the original purchaser only and is void if your product is purchased from another person or unauthorized dealer" Take care bro!
