Gravis Kai Racer Shoe - Men's - 2006

The Gravis Men's Kai Racer Shoe is a 70's track and field-inspired casual sneaker for the modern urban speedster. These athletic mesh and split suede sneakers have a foam padded mesh lining and a supportive cushioned footbed to keep your feet happy as you zoom around town. The Kai Racers have a killer throw-back style made for the concrete.

I'm a gigantic fan of the shoes Gravis makes. I like their thin shoes as opposed to the more clunky skate-like shoes.. these Kai Racers remind me of the old thin-style Kingpin.

I bought these shoes as something different from the normal skate shoe. I'm glad I did. I'll probably mostly only wear these to the gym or while biking, but they may be worn outside of that. First off, these shoes are much more low-cut than they appear in the pictures. They also breathe amazingly well, so they are the perfect summer shoe. Sizing is accurate and you won't be seeing anyone else with anything like this. These will definitely not be the last pair of Gravis shoes that I buy.
