So, after only having experience with Holden from buying a couple of basic hoodies, which I liked, I decided to take the plunge when I saw a good deal on this jacket. Man, I am SO pumped about this buy! As usual they gloss over the features of this jacket so let me elaborate a bit. First, let me say that I took the previous reviewer's advice and ordered a size smaller. I am 5' 11" 170lb and usually wear size L, but got a M. I'm glad I did, as the reviewer mentioned it's pretty large but really in a good way. I was a little concerned that the sleeves might be too short sinces my arm's are lengthy but it doesn't seem to be an issue at all.

- Small stretchy ubersoft sleeves hang down from the cuffs with thumb holes to fit snug against your wrist, underneath even your mitten liner. Nice.
- The velcro straps on the cuff have a clever drawstring action that you are going to like.
- When the zipper is zipped all the way up, it slides under a fleece hood that shields it from your face, so your chin is extremely comfortable, and it's totally facial hair friendly. The top flares out a bit from the neck so there's plenty of room when you tuck in from the wind.
- Two large snap-closure glove pockets on the front, that are patterned to blend in completely. The sides zip open for another set of full sized pockets. One of them has a plastic keychain clip in the corner.
- Inside mesh pocket with headphone loop above.
- Inside zip pocket with a smaller mesh pocket and a plastic clip on a string with a goggle cloth clipped on.
- Really huge side-vents that cover your whole armpit and then some, that zip from both ends.
- Two elastic drawstring systems in the hood, one in the snow skirt, and one in the waistline.
- Two ways to connect to your snow pants, a zipper on the edge of the snow skirt, and 2 snaps on the waistline.
- Lots of sick finishing touches like the white holden button covers, huge shiny silver zipper, and soft brown leather zipper pulls.

This is the sickest jacket I've ever owned. I can't wait to go ride with it!

I bought the Maplethorpe cause I needed a killer puffy for a little Whistler action we've got goin' on... and let me tell you, it does not disappoint. I originally got it in a Medium though, and it runs absolutely huge. I'm sure that's the just the style of the jacket, but I had to send it back and get a small and it fits nice. Maybe even still a little bigger than I'd want, so you've been warned... it's built to be a baggy mess. It's standard Holden awesomeness though, and I love it. Powder skit, ziptech, killer pockets, and max warmth.

Totally recommended if you're in need for a super steezy puffy.
