Lib Technologies Dark Series Magnetraction Snowboard - 2007

Lib Tech designed the skate-influenced Dark Series Magnetraction Snowboard to give progressive riders an incredible feel in the terrain park and on downtown rails. The wave-shaped magne-edges give this board multiple contact points, so even icy parks feel like they were just groomed five-minutes ago. Lib Tech's Golden Fleece composite core material gives the Dark Series Snowboard pop like nothing else, so you boost big on any kicker. I've ridden a great number of boards before finally picking up the Dark Series. Anything from a WFO to M3, they all had areas they shined in, but none was an all mountain board...Until the Dark Series. This board does it all. Gives tons of pop off kickers, slays rails and hurls you down the mountain at rocket like speed. The board handles anything you can throw at it and begs for more. The only complaint I've found is that the top sheet scratches & delams very easily. After 5 days of riding, the top sheet is starting to delam. Still 5/5!

This board is absolutely amazing. Great if you are an advanced rider because this board likes to go fast. If you try to make big turns you will just be fighting the board the whole day. Great off jumps and landings. Have yet to catch an edge this season. Will never go back to any other kind of board. Magna traction is sick.

Dark Series RIPS!

Have only ridden this board one time, but it's hands down the absolute best board I've ever ridden. It took a run or two to get used to it, but the Dark Series absolutely rips. Super sick carving & has got tons of pop. Even though the bottom of the runs had iced over by the end of the day, the magne-traction sliced through it like butta.

k well first of all i have last year's lib tech dark series snowboard and it is amazing. it is so so reliable where ever u are on the mountain. the risers definitely help cushion landings for those flat landings. it sticks to rails no problem. it is really fast. the stiffness and pop are a perfect combo whether u are in the park or in the trees. and lastly just when u land a big jump with this board it feels amazing cuz your board sticks the landing.

So I got this board (164) at the end of last year from Lib on a warranty exchange for my 05/06 Dark Series Mag that had de-lam'd...It is SUPER sic, best Dark Series yet..TONS of pop! I sold it to my friend because I wanted something a little bigger, and I miss it all the time.. LIB RULES!!
