Lib Technologies Jamie Lynn Phoenix BTX Snowboard

Lib Tech collaborated with pro rider Jamie Lynn to create the Phoenix BTX Snowboard. This all-terrain freestyle board features Lib Tech’s Banana Technology and Magne-Traction; you’ll jib like a crazed monkey, float on powder like a high-as-a-kite monkey, and ride icy mank as if it were sweet sweet corn instead of banana peels. A firm flex, smooth radial sidecut, and incredible pop make the Phoenix BTX a solid, stable board for aggressive riders.

  • Banana Tech (rocker) lets you stomp your board flat for tip-to-tail edge contact and enhanced control
  • Magne-Traction increases edge control, even on bulletproof hardpack
  • The wood core with quad-axial fiberglass torsion box construction gives you a responsive ride
  • Golden Fleece (basalt fiber) reinforcement provides unreal pop
  • Power Transfer Spines transfer energy from your feet to your tip and tail for still more pop
  • Double-sintered UHMW sidewalls take a thrashing and still look sexy
  • Features Bio-Plastic topsheet made from beans—no, really
  • TNT base is fast and easy to maintain

Bottom Line: Jamie Lynn loves to play with his banana.

Hey i'm not sure if I should get the 157 wide or 160. I'm 5'11" 165 size 11 boot, i'm currently riding a 164 and it seems too big. I mostly ride Mt. Baker so i'm in the deep stuff most of the time. I'm not sure if the non wide board will be wide enough. Thanks!

Lib only has his board in BTX, Same with Mark Landvik's version of the Phoenix. Lib's really doing away with camber altogether, will they regret it later? who knows? Perhaps you could look into the Travis Rice with C2 BTX (Camber underfoot, banana rocker between feet where you feel it the most anyway).
