Grip it and rip it—or some other hackneyed line in the Matix Men's Gripper Jeans. Since you work hard and play hard, Matix gave the Gripper pants a fitted cut through the thigh, knees, and legs to keep you comfortable. The Matix jeans low-rise waist and slightly flared leg openings give 110% when they're out there going for the gold. The slim-fitting Gripper Jeans come with a button fly that's good to go.
Bottom Line: Go big or go home wearing the Matix Gripper Jeans.
The jeans were great the color is what i don't get the color says dark vintage and it looks black but when i goth them they were a dark blue apart from that these jeans are great.
Matix is now top of my list for fit and quality. I have 2 pairs of the gripper fit and they are awesome. And there prices are very good for the quality denim that they use.
If you like the Volcom Roadhouse or Levi's skinners, etc. you will really dig these jeans. I must say though, the colors listed, are much much darker than the pictures shown (the pics here suck pretty bad, it's even hard to get the idea from the Matix website). I got the vintage stretch, which look the lightest here on the site, but are actually pretty dark, and I also have the Dakota wash that I got from another site, and they are super dark! High quality, smooth stitching, and super low-rise, tight rocker fit. I love it, fits over my slips-ons nicely as well. But the only down side is, that jeans with any amount of stretch or spandex in them, don't wear out as well, when they get abraded they turn a bright white and blue color that doesn't match the wash, unlike 100% cotton denim.
I own these in black and grey. The black pair seem to be a lot tighter in the waist than the grey. The black is nice, because they are really stiff, raw denim you can wear in yourself. The waist fit almost perfect on the grey (black pair fit ok after getting worn-in), but they seem to be cut a little shorter in the legs than the other matix jeans. Not bad overall, though.
These are quite possibly the most comfortable pair of jeans I have ever owned. The quality of the denim is what surprised me, these are very durable. The fit is very similar to the Volcom Roadhouse jeans however the colors pictured here are much darker than the photos pictured. All in all they are great I would buy a second pair.
The Grippers were my first venture into the skinny, low rise, stretchy realm, and I must say, I dig. These jeans fit great. I'm 5-foot 6-inches and I bought the 30s. They fit nice and close without being too tight. They ended being slightly darker than the photo shown, but that might because my screen isn't calibrated correctly. Regardless, these are now my favorite jeans.
Like any pair of Matix, they fit great and feel like they'll last forever, which they do. The Gripper is my favorite because they're not too tight, nor too loose. To sum it up: great jeans at a reasonable price.
