Nitro Pantera Snowboard - 2008

Want to rip pow lines like a Cowboy From Hell? Nitro tacked some nano-composite shoes onto the powder-loving tapered shape of the Pantera Snowboard so you could ride this steed into the sunset after poaching your buddies’ favorite powder field. By the time they get to the top of the hike you’ll have floated softly through the trees and down to the saloon where they’ll soon meet you to settle the score like men-with shots and plenty of cornhole.

Bottom Line: A Vulgar Display of Power.

This board is for all of you out there that don't care for the park.....we spend our days hiking for the snow that most dream about....and this is the board that wont let you down when you are standing on the top of an hour long hike looking at turns that make you smile like a child on Christmas morning....it has a tapered shape so it floats through pow like a dream and a progressive side cut so it can hold an edge in the chop.....

Forgot about freeriding? Not Nitro

It looks like most brands have forgotten about guys like me that like to freeride more than they like to be in a park. If there's a couple inches of fresh you'll find me in the trees. I rode the Pantera last season after a buddy of mine got one. I loved it, it's incredibly fast edge to edge and rides like it knows what turn you're going to make next. The base is hard and fast, after demoing a Blacklight last season I understand you don't have to wax the FX base which is great for me. The flex is on the stiffer side like a good freeriding board should be. It held an edge at all speeds and felt confident without any chatter. I like that Nitro has a two year warranty and would choose this board over the Burton Super Model and Custom X any day.
