Nitro Janna Banana Snowboard - 2006

After ten consecutive wins at the X-Games, Janna Meyen knows exactly what belongs in a killer board. The Nitro Janna Banana Snowboard's profile tip and directional shape gives winners the snap they need to get through anything. This freestyle board features Nitro's lightweight Powerlite core for durability, lots of pop, and a super solid ride. At the request of their team, Nitro thinned this poplar core at the tip and tail, reducing swing weight and absorbing impact so you can throw those 780s and land softly. A Dyneema enhanced optimal matrix layup with rows of carbon and fiberglass gives this all-terrain board strength and power at a low weight, while the sidewall construction provides excellent grip in sketchy snow. The dual digressive sidecut lends ladies the power they need in the park, while the FH base is ultra fast on the slopes and very easy to maintain.

This is not for the faint at heart. This board is very aggressive. You gotta work when on this board. It is amazing...you can bomb anything and it is solid and chatter free. It is very stiff, so not much a rail, buttery board, but WOW it has pop. It is a great board for an advanced women ride. I would not recommend this for anyone beginning or intermediate. But if you are looking for a more aggressive durable board this is the way to go. I enjoyed my time on it. Make sure you have stiffer bindings to help just rally this board around the mt.

This board is solid. It's super rad for riding in the park or for powder. It has mad pop, and it's pretty stiff so it's not real buttery.
