Nitro T1 Snowboard - Wide

Nitro made the Wide T1 Snowboard with a soft, forgiving flex so you and your size 14’scan ride the rails to your heart’s content. The Rail Killer edge takes the bite out of your hard impacts, the profile tip disperses energy and reduces swing weight, and the X PowerCore provides the snap you need for your ollies and jibs.

  • X Powercore gives you tip-to-tail woodcore for more snap and durability
  • Bi-Lite laminate uses biaxial fiberglass for easier turn initiation and a forgiving flex
  • Radial sidecut smooths out your turns and gives you more control at any speed
  • Profile tip is tapered to disperse energy and reduce swing weight
  • Railkiller edge uses extra material to add durability
  • Hi-Def FH base provides durability and speed

Bottom Line: Lock the rails.

i was thinking about getting this board in a 52w and i was wondering if i would really be to heavy for it. i mainly jib and hit a few small to arguable mid-sized jumps (my hill dosent build much =/ ) i weigh around 160- 165lbs or 73kg

wide park ride

the T1 board is the most widely known and favorite board to many riders out there but its also a little narrow for the above average size foot out there..... so all of you out there that i just described that cant find that one perfect board cause its always too narrow, well today is your day... here is the T1 wide.... this board comes with a rail killer edge which is very hard to destroy and a zero camber... this is an awesome way to build a board... zero camber means that the board has about a one millimeter camber to it... that is very low... this gives the feel of a flat riding, broken in board, but still very lively when you load it up on take offs.... this board is the perfect board for all you park riders that love a backcountry kicker every other day..... a full twin with a little longer nose and tail to float better in the deep stuff... now you know why so many of the team riders for Nitro love this board... it does all of the freestyle terrain that you can throw at it..

I am a size 10 and I rode the non-wide board for two years (awesome board)without any toe/heel overhang- you're all good. I think size 11 is actually more of the grey area on whether to go wide or not.

The Team Favorite for Big Feet

By:

The T1 is a team favorite and is the first board everyone asks me about. This year we updated the 2009 TWS Good Wood winner by adding a softer Park Flex and our flat Zero Camber. Zero Camber is quickly becoming my favorite riding camber story in our line. The Zero Camber on the T1 is confidence inspiring and predictable. It is catch free without the unstable and lethargic feeling of many companies Rocker.

The T1 is at home anywhere in the Park but can handle the occasional tree run or BC line. The T1 is loaded with Rail Killer edges, the thickest most durable edge in the industry as well as our fast as $%!! FH base that ensures if you don’t clear a jump it’s your fault you speed checked.

Dollar for dollar the T1 will out perform boards that cost a couple hundred bucks more. Give the new 2010 T1 a ride and you’ll see why it’s Knut’s favorite board. If you want a board that can take abuse day after day and still leave a simile on your face at the end of the season the T1 is the way to go. Check out the below link to see Knut killing everything in sight on the T1.
