Oakley Gas Can Sunglasses

The Oakley Gas Can sunglasses are built to stare down the competition. Tough, lightweight O Matter frames will take the abuse of rough days on the track without flinching. Optically correct XYZ lenses ensure you'll stay focused on your opponents. The Gas Can exceeds ANSI standards for impact resistance, and the Plutonite lenses block all the harmful UV rays that could slow you down.

Bottom Line: The Gas Can keeps you running.

a little generic

the Gascan was a sick pair of shades right when they were released, but they have become so popular that now basically either has Gascans or something influenced by it. As these are not sport specific shades, the main reason to wear these is aesthetics - and you will look like everyone else with these.

Oakley Collector

I am a big fan of Oakley sunglasses and I have four pairs. I enjoy each one of them. I love how they changed the lenses of Juliet under warranty even after 3 years of having it. I bought my second one, which is the Mag Ti and I love it even more because its lightweight. The Valve is cool as well but my new favorite is the Gas Can which goes well with my semi-casual clothes. It is stylish and looks really elegant.

No. All of Oakley's polarized glasses are listed seperately and are more expensive.

Bought these for my boyfriend a year ago. He has a large, round face and these glasses look sexy as hell on him. Not to mention they're really good quality glasses. I reccomment them to any guys with medium to large faces.

These are perfect for my large face, they fit awesome and cover up my eyes with no gaps which is hard to find when you look like andre the giant's stunt double.

I am a girl with a larger face and head, round big cheeks but I only wear a M helmet size. Anyone have any opinions on whether or not these would be a good fit?

Oh yeah, instant classic!

got the polished white/black iridium when they first came out 3-4 years ago, and its still going strong!...super clean styling with a modern shape, not too big and not too small. the optics are clear and perfect of course. they fit great and are moderately snug on my medium sized head. they dont hurt the ears after being worn for long amounts of time...but be warned, if you sweat at all these will fall off very easily. like if you look down you will be looking at your glasses on the ground BUT thats not a big problem because they are indestructible! 4 years up and down mountains, in boats, hikes, whatever, tons of drops and accidental sitting-ons and they still look as new as the day I got em. perfect shades!...plus they are made in USA.

SCORE!

Everyone says these glasses are perfect for a large face composition but I have a thin face composition and there are no gaps between my temples and the glasses. They are a perfect fit though. Really worth the $!!!

my return experience

By:
August 30, 2007

I ordered the wrong color frames but, called and spoke to Jason who walked me through the return process and got me what I wanted. Very smooth process. The only recommendation would be once the returned item has been received - customer service contacted the sender and let them know it has been received and when to expect a credit on their card.

Thanks and looking FWD to doing more business in the very near future.

Real, honest-to-god Oakleys are made in the States. Fauxkleys, however, can be thrown together anywhere.

All of Oakley's products are Made in the USA. If you don't believe me I can send someone out in the warehouse to take a picture of the "Made In USA" stamp on the inside arm of these sunglasses.

Phat Glasses

By:
March 26, 2009

I, along with my bro and several of my and his friends have these glasses in varying frame and lense colors. Unfortunately, I paid about triple what everyone else did cuz mine are prescription, but no regrets. Super comfy to wear all day out on the boat, wouldn't recommend for anything too "sporty" as they have fallen off my face a couple times, and I have a ginormous head. That and the fact they could use a little more lower eye coverage are the only reason they're not getting 5 stars from me. But a solid pair of quality Oakley craftsmanship.

I wouldn't do it, if I were you.

By:

I used to be a pretty cool guy, and I thought "Hey, Oakley's have a pretty solid rep," so I had my ladyfriend buy these for me for sweetest day, and now everyone that passes me on the street probably just assumes I am a tool. But they were a gift, and theres nothing I can do about it now.

Don't let this happen to you
