Roxy Silhouette Snowboard - Women's

Roxy made the Women's Silhouette Snowboard for girls who charge through the terrain park and rule the slopes. Freestylin' ladies need a strong ride to get them through a medley of terrain types, and the Silhouette's sandwich construction delivers. It helps keep this freestyle snowboard's poplar core lightweight and flexible. This Roxy deck's radial sidecut gives you smooth, predictable turns, and its centered stance and true twin shape rides equally well regular or switch. The women's-specific flex pattern is forgiving enough for the park, but still stiff enough to kick ass on the steeps.

Bottom Line: The Roxy Silhouette Snowboard has curves in all the right places.

Although I agree with Andy on his review of BTX, this board is nothing like the Lib Skate Banana. I do not know what Andy is talking about. The Roxy is not reverse camber (HUGE DIFFERENCE), the flexs are totally different, and the Roxy does not have Magne Traction. I own a Lib Sk8 Nana and my lady has this Roxy - so believe me on this one - they are not similar.
To answer your question though - this is a decent board for a beginner/intermediate rider. It is not gonna make your turns for you, but a pretty good value overall. If you plan on keeping it for a few seasons, it is built to last as well. You also cant beat the price it is at 40% off. No matter what you decide to get though, get it at Dogfunk. Everything about their service is top notch, and dont forget to check out their kickin return policy.

Basically its the Lib Skate banana made for women. Same manufacturer. It is one of the best all purpose boards out there. Ive been riding a banana for 2 years now and it is a board you cant put down. Once you go btx, there is nothing better out there.
