this jacket is sweet. looks awesome and performs as well.
i wear a large in nearly everything i own, and this one was gigantic on me. the medium fits perfect and im 6'0 and 185lbs.
no worries, dogfunk took care of me and i had a quick and easy exchange for the proper size.

If you live in Colorado or Utah, you'll be fine because of the dryness and low moisture content of the snow there. If you're in the North west or Tahoe.. 5K wont cut it. East Cost is probably good too.

Depends on what you think is enough. If you dont go out in crazy snowstorms with super wet snow then 5k will be just fine. If you are constantly in super deep powder, roughing the elements, drinking pina coladas and getting caught in the rain then you should step up the protection.
