Strap on the all-terrain Ride RX Snowboard Binding and shred any terrain you point your stick at. Freestyle responsiveness, full fit customization, and UltraLite Quick-Draw ratchets power your riding from the peak to the park. The RX's lightweight Support Plus ankle stap spreads pressure across your ankle to eliminate pressure points. Move the convertible toe strap from the top of the boot to the front of the toe depending on your preference. The highback and ankle strap feature tool-less adjustments so you don't have to go scouting around for a screwdriver when you need a couple tweaks.
Been riding these for 3 years and havent needed new bindings, need say more? ok i will anyway. they are juist mid weight, not super light or heavy...response is good, but stil flexible enough to butter the crap outta them. comfort could use some work, ankle strap is thin and hard, and toe strap is just a mess. toe strap is uncomfortable, pinches both sides of tow box, and falls off...shock padding is nice tho, no complaints on that...other gripes are the bad ratchets, go tight but strip easy, and when they are tight they are really hard to get off. BOTTOM LINE: is that they arent perfect, but they WORK!...they do the job for under 200 bucks, cant ask for much more
I've been riding these for 3 seasons now, and they have never failed me.
I originally went in for a set of cheapies, because I was just making the transition into intermediate riding, but since I am 6'-4" and 225 lbs., the guy at the store recommended I go with something with an aluminum base instead of the poly.
That being said, they're great for tearing down the mountain at neck-breaking speed, quick adjustments and rapid input transfer -- but definitely stiff for rails and landing 20-footers, although I would feel confident that they wouldn't bust on me if I did.
If you're a hoss like me, then get 'em. If you're smaller and/or park rat, go for something softer.
Yeah so i just got them and rode them all day. they are great i have a flexy board and some reason they work amazing! The toe strap works like magic it really does cover the toe like a capstrap! and its comfy the cusion pads are magnif! get em
Dogfunk doesnt sell them but Ride's warranty and parts depo is really cool, after my first year on these bindings hey gave me a new ladder set and mounting disks for free even after my warranty is up. Just go to their website and check it out
I purchased Ride bindings for the first time and fell in love. These bindings look great, feel great, and ride great. The only gripe I have with them is the toe extender is one piece with the toe strap and the screws loosen throughout the day. Making the extender slide back I dont notice it much but its annoying.
Write your question here... I'm just getting back into riding after a severe broken ankle. Just wondering how much support these will give along with my boots?
For looking elsewhere, I would suggest a physical therapist or a podiatrist. I don't think 5 sprains per season is representative of these bindings. Hey, I have a bad ankle too, but Ride's not gonna fix that.
I use the RX binding's because they're stiff. I have very weak ankles due to repeated injury and these things work very well for me. I definately recommend RX binding for people with bad ankles like myself (boots willing of course). I've used many sets of binding's in the last 4 years and the RX so far has been the stiffest.
hey, ive been riding these for three years and have fractured both ankles twice (before i started riding)...aaaaaaaand with these bindings about 5 days a year i sprain my ankles (minorly) while riding. and thats with 3 different pairs of boots too...i would look elsewhere
Pretty simple...gets the job done...well built. Exactly what I want in a binding. Nothing crazy but that's a good thing. Great all around binders from the park to the pow. The Ride buckles threw me off a bit, no big deal.
