Let little wrists avoid snowboarding's most common injury with RED Impact Wrist Guards. With all the high-flying, out-of-bounds action in snowboarding, you may be surprised to learn that most accidents occur low to the ground at slow speeds. The bunny slopes, cat tracks, and groomed runs are an easy place to catch an edge and get thrown down. Catching yourself puts your wrists at risk. The RED Impact Wrist protectors are low profile to fit under gloves or mitts, they diffuse shock when hitting the ground and support the wrist during a fall.

not enough support

The wrist pads claims to fit under the gloves, but I found that it is hard unless you have gloves that are one size larger. The padding is nice, but because there is no hard support on the wrist you can still get a sprain wearing them, which I did. I think the DAKINE has a much better support than these and also has a slimmer fit.
