Red Hi-Fi Helmet - 2007

The RED Hi-Fi Helmet is so light you'll forget you're wearing it. That is, until you over-rotate a 540, catch an edge, and whip on the hardpack. A classic shape and ultra light construction combine in that won't make you feel like you're wearing a bowling ball. The Zip Clip ratcheting buckle provides a custom fit and it's easy to use with gloves on. Take off the RED Hi-Fi Helmet's ear pads when hiking on hot days. A removable goggle gasket (a strip of fabric between the helmet rim and your goggles) prevents the gaper look and forehead frostbite. *Available for US Shipment Only. Fall 2007.

Bottom Line: Strap on the Red Hi-Fi for feather-light, comfortable head protection.

Saves your mellon

This helmet by red is really one of the best offered in my opinion. Yes, people do hit trees as i did but with this helmet on. The medic checked me out and all is good thanks to me wearing a superior helmet. It fits comfortably and is snug which is also very important. It's also very stylish and i have had a lot of comments about it while going down the hill. Try it out i promise you won't regret it.

Impressive

This is an awesome helmet. It comes in a variety of colors, and is very light. You feel like there is nothing on your head. However, this helmet still provides plenty of protection. You can also upgrade the ear pieces to the ones with speakers in them. If you are buying goggles too, the oakley A-frame goggle really is a good fit. I have never used a better helmet ever and I have been riding for 8 years. Very good helmet.

Will fit with Wisdoms

By:
February 19, 2009

I have Oakley Wisdom goggles and a Hi-Fi in Matte White...they fit perfectly. (The goggles had the helmet strap). I did try similar models in regular stores to get a fit I wanted. I didn't opt for the audio accessory but they'll fit with no problems.

Great protection and looks good too

Just like the title says. Not only has this helmet kept my egg from cracking...it looks good too. Very low profile, skate-style design. Holds my goggles great. It took me a while to find a good fitting helmet but this one is definitely it.

The Reviews Don't Lie

By:
March 13, 2008

I bought this helmet for my boyfriend based solely on the other reviews because I had no clue. Turns out they were all true. He loves the helmet! He says it's lightweight, comfortable, keeps his head cool and warm at the same time, no problems with goggles, I could go on.
So thanks to everyone else for your feedback!

Protect ya neck (and your dome)

By:
February 4, 2009

This baby does as it's advertised: makes sure I don't end up splitting my head open like an easy-over egg. It's comfortable, warm, and doesn't look too disgusting. What else do you want? A washer and dryer on your crown?
