The Rome Graft Snowboard has a soft torsional flex to let you jib every object in the park and carbon in the tip and tail to boost you huge on the kickers. Impact plates under the bindings absorb not-quite-smooth trannies and dampen the ride on hard, chattery snow. Rome used park edge profiling on the twintip Graft Snowboard to give it enough bite in the hardpack without hooking whenever you hit a rail.
Bottom Line: Make use of every inch in the terrain park with the Rome Graft Snowboard.
The Rome Graft is by far THE Best snowboard I have ever ridden. Amazing pop for booters...maybe get a slightly longer one for the bigger kickers. Sick for jibbing...soft in the middle. Pretty dope in pow pow too...So much FUN!
If you are just starting out then go for a Cheaptrick or a Crail, just because they will give you the feel for rome boards, whitch is DOPE. If not def go for a Graft, or if you want something a lil more noodly, then go for an Artifact. Rome has good all-around boards, yet they are steezy in the park
Rome has been killing it for a while now with their sticks, and the Graft is no exception. Awesome mid-soft flex that's buttery smooth, but not soft enough to rob your carving confidence. The sidecut feels much mellower than most other snowboards I've been on (discounting strictly jib decks), tracks straight. Great pop. Very fun board for park and all mountain freestyle that could sell for a lot higher than it does.
depends on your stance width, angles, and riding style. you won't be able to eurocarve with a narrower stance on a shorter graft. what size are you looking at?
I bought this board at the end of last year and i've ridden it about 10 times and i really like it, the only problem is that well.. i snapped it! but Rome was very helpful in getting me a new board under the 2 year warranty. when the board wasn't broken it was super buttery and super flexy.. its an awesome board for jibbin around but not that great for spinning.. w/e all around good board.. after my experiences with Rome, i'll be buying their product more often!
Id say look up the wieghts of other boards that are in the same genre as this one. a lighter board is a lot of fun, but sometimes you might need that extra beef to keep you from tweakin out
This board is flat out nasty. I've been riding it for a couple months and I've loved every second of it. The Pop Core Matrix gives you incredible pop off the jumps and is easy to spin off of anything. It's nice and flexy so you can press nice on rails while still stable for stomping huge landings. The impact plates suck all of the shock out of landing and makes the board super durable. It's the perfect balance of the Rome Artifact and Agent so its awesome in jumping and jibbing. It's also fun to rip down the backcountry and groomer trails all day. The only thing I suggest you do before you start shredding is file down the edges a bit but that takes all of 5 minutes. For any of your ridding needs, the Rome Graft has got you covered.
The graft is been a board you should be getting this year. The carbon in the board gives you some of the best pop i have ever experienced. But at the same time you get super high presses with ease. The waste width is perfect for each size, I have a 153 and a 155 and both are the best boards i have ever riden.
ok so i started park this year and decided to get a new board since my other one was stiff as concrete. i bought this one and brought it to mt snow in VT and loved it. Its so forgiving I was throwing down 180's without even trying. I would recommend it for park rats maybe even freeride i did some cruising and it was fine barely any chatter from it. Overall, a really fun board to ride and lets you do your own thing.
This is everything you're looking for in a snowboard. The soft flex and carbon in the tip give it some real nice pop. Its lightweight, and its even got a nice tough base so its good to go for anything from the park to the street. It also holds up great everywhere else on the mountain. Basically, if you're looking for a snowboard, you should go for this one.
The Graft is an awesome board. Carbon Fiber in the nose and tail gives you pop, while no carbon in the middle gives you a smooth flex for presses and Butter. Tap that off with sick graphics and a good shape and this board really can't be beat at the price. A+
