When they're throwing down on a sick rail sesh, Jesse Fox, Marius Otterstad, and just about every other member of the Rome factory team straps into the Artifact Snowboard. Why would all these guys slide the same ride? Because the Artifact is designed with one purpose in mind: pure and total freestyle domination. This soft board eats up the most evil kinks and gives you the pop you need for hucking the biggest tables. The Impact base takes season after season of the most wicked rails out there and hardly needs a tune-up. Rome has also added a Bronze edge to the twintip Artifact, which reduces metal-on-metal friction. The Artifact's graphics are ode to the late hours many riders keep in order to make urban assaults with nary a cop around.
Bottom Line: Rome's team riders know a good deck when they see it.
This board is amazing. AMAZING. It flexes more than arnold schwarzenegger himself! You can butter all day and your legs will feel fine with it's soft flex. The only downfall is that it gets torn up fast with it's copper edges and soft flex. Plan on rockin it for a season but after that... Invest in the newest model! ROME
this board is great. i bought the hustlin one last year and the tech is the same. so much fun to dick around on i cant say enough good things about this board. deff a soft soft board and has great feel for jibs. everyone told me it would suck for crusin and off jumps but nah. it just has a nice rome feel that holds edge nicely and has good pop to hit kickers. i could throw a seven with this and not even think about it folding. i wouldnt hit anything huge thou. amazing board and is wicked durable on everything but the topsheet tend to peel it you amack it off trees.. anyboard would thou
i dont know if i should get this board in 147 or the Rome Label 142. Im 13 years old and growing. but i really dont care bout the size. I need a board thats very flexy and amazing on rails. I've ben reading reveiws and they both seem amazing. I NEED HELP!! :P
Killer graphics the colors really pop on the 153cm!! Flex on this board is unreal and rides like a champ deffinality will help you get steezy on all your jibs..
i know that if u get a rome you cant go wrong always a flex buttery ride but i have to say the skate banana has more flex is a little lighter and and you wont catch any edge what so ever 2 great boards both extremly good for park
it goes along with the whole peep show theme they have this year on the artifact, you can either leave it blank, or scratch the surface off, which reveals an under dressed girl
I bought a Artifact and this was one of the funnest boards I've ever owned, it was great in the park and all mountain riding. love it! Rome makes the best Boards.
This thing makes butters and presses so easy, I feel like I'm cheating. And the bronze edges definitely keep those hang ups away. This stick isn't so stable off the big booters, but then again what short jib stick with this much flex is? If you're thinking about snagging a flexy jib deck, then this is the stick for you.
yeah i have. for 1 the artifact is a peice of shit. i shred a rome label. yeah i broke my artifact the second day i had it. just wanah give you a heads up.
the top sheets on artifact always peel up. last years did and this years also. but i know a kid that has had 3 replaced for him by rome which is dandy.
I've been on an Artifact for three years now. It's a fantastic board. I originally bought it because I wanted to have a soft board to learn to ride switch on, while my girlfriend was learning how to snowboard. It accomplished that mission and more, and became my main go-to board. Rome bills it as a freestyle board, but it's really a great all around deck. I mostly freeride in the trees, and it's performance is excellent in those conditions. Highly recommended.
this board is amazing so flexy lots of pop, i been riding the past two days at creek and the board was amazing. the park is not open so i been riding trails with some jumps here and there it does well holds and edge and is amazing for a board that is so flexy great in powder and crap ice im sure it will be nuts in the park
firstly, the gear heads did an awesome job helpin me choose this board, thanks again
and the board was heaven compared to my burton twin......flex way softer... you can really control it...its just great
only bad part is the top gets scratched easily......i'd be puttin some stickers on asap and not let the retarded lifties ram it into the holder on the gondolas
definently the 1985, the rocker is sick, it feels awsome, i love it. i ride park a lot which is what both the boards are for so... but i love how it rides too. eash as hell to press and butter feels great. especially for jibbing
The Artifact will be more controlable and better for different types of terrain, the 1985 (which is awesome) its great for rails and jibs and most park features, but cant take the heat in anything else. both board have amazing features, it just comes down to what you want to ride. I riden Artifacts, and own the 1985 artifact and you wont be displeased with either. Hope i could be of help.
I LOVE this board. it is amazing for jibs and pretty good for jumps too. the bronze edges are perfect because they wear down fast but are still good to ride the pipe. presses are so easy its cheating. buy this board
great board heaps of flex snow season hasn't started here in australia but i cant wait to get out on this board.. great service and advise from dog funk...shipping tu aus was great and very quick..
i really love this board, im a taller guy and i got it in the 159 and it is still super soft and super flexi. it is really just a fun board to ride. couldnt of bought a better deck. even with the bronze edges, the deck still hooks up well.
i road it at libery two days ago and fell in love... best ride ever.. i rode a vapor and a couple other and this i liked the best... better then the mod BY ALOTT
