Ride CAD Snowboard Binding - 2007

The Ride CAD Snowboard Binding, a favorite of pro rider J.J. Thomas, comes with Ride's Custom Balance Footbed. Micro-tune your footbed by adjusting the height and canting in any direction to get dialed-in balance and control. In addition, Ride gave the CADs lots of cushioning—EVA padding, urethane dampeners, and landing pads—to absorb chatter and shock. The PowerFlex Plus highback and R2 Rollbar on the chassis take the energy from your legs and send into the board for excellent response.

Bottom Line: From the pipe to backcountry kickers, the customizable Ride CAD Snowboard Bindings get around.

Love em!

I swapped these from Salomon Relay XLTs and am so happy I made the switch. The Issue I had with the old Relay toecap was that it would fall off after a couple of jumps and I would always have to stop and ratchet them back.

With the new rubber capstap I could not have been happier. The binding is super stiff and response is excellent. Another poster mentioned that these aren't for the park, but I have yet to hit the park hard nor used soft bindings to know the difference. But on airs with tweakage they aren't terrible in my view.

The canting system works well, but it is annoying to mount on different boards because there are now 8 screws per binding and then you have to fine tune everything again.

There is also a small issues of the sides of the toecap not having enough play when you strap in. It just feels like the edges towards the baseplate are rubbing against the boot, but I haven't had any boot related problems so it might just be imperfect fit for Salomon boots.

Ride CAD

I bought these after busting my composite chassis in half on my old SnoPros. These things are ridiculous, pretty lite, and very cush. You can adjust and fine tune them to your setup. The straps are plush, but the whole binding is has a great balance of comfort and response. Never had "white" bindings, but they do look sick. Buy and enjoy.

RIDE CAD Bindings

Bought these after my old SIMS bindings broke. I have only been on these new bindings three times and they are amazing. They are very adjustable and made solid. Not to mention these things are beautiful. I would definitely suggest these to any one looking to upgrade or need a solid binding. The ability to choose which way the toe strap goes, either over the toe or in front of the toe, is a nice touch as well.

Freeride King !

This binding is great if you love to freeride. Ride has incorporated a new base system into this binding.
There is now a canting system built into the base of the binding. For those of you that don't remember back in the day when you could get cant plates to put under your bindings or how ski boots are canted to straighten out your knees.
You can adjust the base of the binding so that you can get a perfectly straight line. Which in turn is going to elevate your riding to a new level. You're going to be more comfortable, have less fatigue and enjoy your day on the mountain so much more.
If you're a park rat, this isn't the binding for you. But if you love laying down carves on trail, riding through the trees, POWDER !, Cliffs, etc... You will love the performance of this binding.
