Ride Slackcountry Snowboard
Built for going OB on blower days at the resort, the Ride Slackcountry Snowboard combines Ride’s latest rocker technology, so you don’t have to fart around in-bounds when you really need some old-fashioned pow-in-your-face freedom. With an ultralight design and Ride’s powder specific HighRize Rocker, you can just lean back and let the Slackcountry Snowboard do the work for you. With plenty of carbon for stability, and 90A Slimewalls to soak up the chop, the only thing that will be slack at the end of a powder day will be your jello legs.
- Thin Con construction reduces weight profile for easier spinning and less effort
- Membrain topsheet is super light and reduces weight without sacrificing stability
- HighRize Rocker is shaped specifically for powder riding, so you float with less effort
- Carbon Array 7 widespread stringers add instant responsiveness and board control so you don’t wash out or wobble through the crud
- Silencer 7 tip to tail stringers combine wit a Silencer encased Carbon Array 7 to deliver a completely smooth, utterly solid, supremely ultra-light ride
- Real UL Glass is tailored specifically with added carbon in the topglass and Aramid on the bottom of the core, a tech Ride calls Intelligent Fiber Placement, to give you a ridiculously light and poppy ride
Bottom Line: The deck that every powder hound will be drooling over this season.

Concept UL w/ Rocker

Do you love the Concept UL, but wish it had that extra oomph on powder days? Then the Slackcountry is what you've been waiting for.
The Slackcountry has all the features that the Concept UL has except two. It doesn't have Stainless Steal edges, but seriously you won't miss them in the conditions you'll be riding this deck in and it also drops the price of the deck $50. It does feature Ride's Highrize rocker, which is flat under foot through the binding inserts and then the nose rockers up about 6mm and the tail rockers up about 4mm.
You're going to get everything that is great about the Concept UL along with all the float you could ever want on those deep days we all dream about. This board also won Backcountry Magazine Editor's Choice award for 2010.

My new Slackcountry with my new Machete LE. Not enough snow to ride them yet, but the look sick!

Is that a limited edition Slackcountry or what?

No, Ride always does alternate colorways that they don't list in the catalog. They are randomly sent out to dealers... which is why we always state in descriptions that board graphics might differ from the picture we put up.
