Ride Yukon Snowboard - Wide

The Ride Yukon Snowboard gives advanced, big-footed freestyle shredders the chance to take their park skills anywhere on the mountain. Ride's Silencer 5 core reduces unwanted chatter without dampening board feel, so you can keep it together when you're going Mach IV down the groomers. Combine that with Ride's Carbon Array 5 for responsiveness and control, and carbon-enhanced Pop Glass, and you've got a weapon of magnitudinous proportions under your Stashsquatch feet. To absorb more vibration and big hits, Ride made the Yukon's sidewalls out of urethane (the same stuff that's in skate wheels). *We can't control what base color you'll get. It's up to Lady Luck—good thing she's a benevolent wench.

  • Thin Con construction reduces swing weight so you spin faster
  • 90A Slimewalls absorb vibrations and impacts
  • Membrain topsheet reduces weight, is more environmentally friendly, and doesn't skimp on strength
  • Carbon Array 5 overlay adds the responsiveness, power transfer, and control of carbon
  • Silencer 5 Tuned Core dampens vibrations and chatter for a noise-free ride
  • Pop Glass adds the benefit of carbon, to give you added pop without any added stiffness
  • Fusion 4000 base is faster than feck

Bottom Line: A true quiver of one for the hard-charging, size 11+-footed snowboarder.

Wide Concept TMS

By: Dogfunk.com Employee
August 12, 2009

The Yukon name has been such a huge part of ride, that they couldn't just call this board a Concept TMS wide. The Yukon comes from a long line of Ride Boards that have always killed the entire mountain. Many of you may remember the Timeless/Yukon series in the late 90's early 2000's, which is what the current Yukon evolved from. But it doesn't have that "So Stiff that it's too stiff to ride" feeling anymore.

The TMS has about a 6 out of 10 overall flex, stays snappy in the nose and tail with Carbon Array 5, damp with Silencers in the nose and tail, feels for natural carving and spinning with the 90A slimewalls, fast edge to edge with the quadratic sidecut.

When it comes down to it, if you need one board that will kill it on powder days, lay down carves, pop of jumps, slay rails, stay fast in all snow conditions and is just tons of fun goofing around with your buddies the TMS is perfect.

If you're boot size is smaller than a 11, make sure you check out the Ride Concept TMS which is the regular width model.
